“It was my pleasure.”
The voices drifting through your partially open door alert you that your next client is here and you look up from the monitor in time to see a stylishly dressed young woman stepping inside, casually placing her hand against Karl’s chest as she passes him.
You recognize her as the well-known celebrity Diana Grace, and can’t blame Karl for his startruck reaction. It’s taking an effort to keep your own jaw from dropping to find yourself in the presence of such a famous person. Determinedly, you remember your job and greet her.
“Hello and welcome, Ms. Grace. We’re honored that you’ve chosen us to build your perfect home.”
She smiles pleasantly at you. “You come highly recommended. I’m sure you’ll be able to meet my needs.”
“We’ll definitely do our best.” You catch sight of Karl still standing in the doorway,watching with obvious awe. “Karl, don’t you have something to do? I think I hear the phone.”
“What? Oh, right, I’ll just ah, go answer that…” Karl nearly trips over his own feet on his way out but manages to recover himself.
“Now where were we...Oh yes, what did you have in mind? Something sleek and contemporary, perhaps?”
Diana seems amused but not bothered at all by Karl’s reaction. “Oh, no, I’m looking for cozy, comfortable and perhaps a touch rustic. I want it to be my own little kingdom out in the country. I have many friends who like to visit, and will need at least a couple of rooms for them to stay overnight. A guest bath or two as well.”
You nod, noting it all down. “Anything else?”
“I need a pool, of course, Space for entertaining both inside and out is a must.”
“Do you have a color preference?”
“I enjoy bright, cheerful colors, but not painfully bright, and soft fabrics. Neutrals are fine as accent colors.” She smiles again, dazzling you so you have to blink and bring your mind back to the task at hand.
“And your budget?”
“Will 80,000 be enough?”
“That should be plenty. Let me see you out.” You rise to escort her to the door, pretending not to notice Karl quickly turning back to his desk and tapping furiously away at his computer.

ENTRY DETAILS: This country chalet is the perfect escape from the paparazzi and for entertaining and relaxing with only the most famous. Whether you’re downstairs in the chic and comfy living room, upstairs on the party deck, or outside in the natural pool, there are plenty of places for guests to enjoy themselves. There are even two guest bedrooms if a guest has had a little too much happy juice to drive safely.

Diana Grace is an aspiring actress who just moved to Newcrest to start her acting career. She is making new friends and has already signed up with an agency to begin her move up to the top of her profession. I tried to use mostly pastel and grays in my color choices. Put in a pool, BBQ area in the back, lots of plants and some cute touches here and there.
No CC was used. Move objects, show hidden and testing cheat were used.

ENTRY DETAILS: Diana Grace rose to fame through her acting as a child, but now she uses her fame to help advocate for the environment. In a tragic accident, she lost her biggest cheerleader, her mom, but now Diana wears her mother's favorite ring in commemoration of her. Her mom would always tell her to "Make the sun rise on a dark day," which is why Diana has the tattoo of the sunrise.

ENTRY DETAILS: Built on the remote Chateau Frise property, this farmhouse is a perfect spot for music star Diana Grace to unwind and write new songs. Balancing rustic and dramatic the entryway has a double staircase and a nice circular flow to the rooms allowing for ease of movement. For convenience there is also a half bath on the ground floor. Upstairs, there is a loft office and three cozy bedrooms along with two bathrooms.

ENTRY DETAILS: I think I went a lot more rustic than she wanted, but I love it! In order to keep the rustic theme I decided to mainly do neutrals (grey, brown, black, white) with a pop of purple through out. I tried to make an interesting shell with a lot of space for any partying that may occur! I ran out of money so I decided to scrap the landscaping.

ENTRY DETAILS: This quaint Prarie farmstead has the quaint country rustic vibe any person would love. A great formal living room with a fireplace for the colder nights. A guestroom on the lower floor. A quaint country kitchen with plenthy of storage, leading to a covered patio. A large expansive pool for the warm summers, and a large garden space. Upstairs is the large spacious master bedroom, and two more bedrooms, with a jack and jill bathroom.

ENTRY DETAILS: This craftsman style home is surrounded by trees and gardens, providing some privacy and a lovely view. The carport has room for visitors' cars as well as the homeowner's. The backyard boasts a grill deck, pool and basketball court. Inside, a hobby room doubles as a workspace, giving Diana plenty of choices of activities both alone and in a group.

ENTRY DETAILS:
This is a traditional coastal-style home with lots of windows to appreciate the view of the water on three sides of the home. This lot provides privacy as it is on Windenburg Island where there are only three other homes. Most of the interior is painted, paneled or tiled in muted tones of off white or gray with white trim so as not to compete with the colorful decor choices. It was a challenge finding just the right balance between "rustic" and "bright colors" and so I tried to avoid any furnishings that were too geometric, sleek or modern but it was hard as the most interesting color choices tend to be in those categories. I went with more of a "shabby-chic" or "boho-chic" look, using a number of colorful pieces from the Movie Hangout stuff pack and going from there. That was tricky also though because when you're using patterns and big bright colors things can get very "busy" and everything is competing with everything for attention. I felt that since this is a home on the water that it would be fun to decorate a space with a nautical-theme. The indoor/outdoor lounge just seemed like the obvious place for that fun look. I hope that Diana will enjoy her time in this home.

ENTRY DETAILS: I created a unique shaped room and did a lighter version of the rustic home I created for Diana. It is still only using a pop of purple mixed with white, grey, black, and brown. To make it formal I included a piano and a bar. There is also a tv, a book nook, and a fireplace that makes to space very cozy.

ENTRY DETAILS: Villa Verano could be a rural house in Spain, in the country, between the mountains and the sea.
It has several patios and porches to enjoy outdoors, where is, of course, a pool.
Three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a toilet in three floors. Garage for two cars and a motorbike/ bike.
There are fireplaces in all the rooms because it is a house to enjoy during the whole year, not only in Summer!
I decided to design my own rustic furniture with MOO to save money!

So a home for a celebrity but only 80k budget, colourful but not too colourful and just a little bit rustic….quite a challenge!! Now what can I add to stretch myself? Well I’ve never done a ranch style build (that seemed a 'bit' rustic right?) and building on my starter addiction, just how much space and luxury can I give this starlet for only 80k and make it cosy(ish!)? Had real fun with this one, playing with tutorial ideas, terrain, TOOL and MOO, and had to use every starter trick I’ve learned to keep in budget! A few things I tried didn’t survive playtesting but most worked out ok – a great challenge, thank you @buildnshare
So, welcome to the Grace Ranch, the new secluded home on the hill for well known celebrity Diana Grace, designed to fit right in with the pre-landscaped gated entrance that the plot came with. The home boats a large open plan living area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, wellness room and a beautiful outdoor entertaining area.

ENTRY DETAILS: The new home of Diana Grace is her own little kingdom in the country. We have chosen to build her home in the magical countryside of Glimmer-brook, using a country farmhouse style of build to give the home a rustic feel. Using mostly white on the walls, we were able to give her the bright cheery feeling that she wanted without feeling painfully bright. Adding more color throughout house with the furniture choice, as well as the artwork on the walls.

Diana Grace is an aspiring actress who just moved to Newcrest to start her acting career. She is making new friends and has already signed up with an agency to begin her move up to the top of her profession. I tried to use mostly pastel and grays in my color choices. Put in a pool, BBQ area in the back, lots of plants and some cute touches here and there.

ENTRY DETAILS: Built on the remote Chateau Frise property, this farmhouse is a perfect spot for music star Diana Grace to unwind and write new songs. Balancing rustic and dramatic the entryway has a double staircase and a nice circular flow to the rooms allowing for ease of movement. For convenience there is also a half bath on the ground floor. ENTRY DETAILS: I think I went a lot more rustic than she wanted, but I love it! In order to keep the rustic theme I decided to mainly do neutrals (grey, brown, black, white) with a pop of purple through out. I tried to make an interesting shell with a lot of space for any partying that may occur! I ran out of money so I decided to scrap the landscaping.

This is a traditional coastal-style home with lots of windows to appreciate the view of the water on three sides of the home. This lot provides privacy as it is on Windenburg Island where there are only three other homes. Most of the interior is painted, paneled or tiled in muted tones of off white or gray with white trim so as not to compete with the colorful decor choices. It was a challenge finding just the right balance between "rustic" and "bright colors" and so I tried to avoid any furnishings that were too geometric, sleek or modern but it was hard as the most interesting color choices tend to be in those categories. I went with more of a "shabby-chic" or "boho-chic" look, using a number of colorful pieces from the Movie Hangout stuff pack and going from there. That was tricky also though because when you're using patterns and big bright colors things can get very "busy" and everything is competing with everything for attention. I felt that since this is a home on the water that it would be fun to decorate a space with a nautical-theme. The indoor/outdoor lounge just seemed like the obvious place for that fun look. I hope that Diana will enjoy her time in this home.

ENTRY DETAILS: I created a unique shaped room and did a lighter version of the rustic home I created for Diana. It is still only using a pop of purple mixed with white, grey, black, and brown. To make it formal I included a piano and a bar. There is also a tv, a book nook, and a fireplace that makes to space very cozy.

ENTRY DETAILS: Villa Verano could be a rural house in Spain, in the country, between the mountains and the sea.
It has several patios and porches to enjoy outdoors, where is, of course, a pool.
Three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a toilet in three floors. Garage for two cars and a motorbike/ bike.
There are fireplaces in all the rooms because it is a house to enjoy during the whole year, not only in Summer!

So a home for a celebrity but only 80k budget, colourful but not too colourful and just a little bit rustic….quite a challenge!! Now what can I add to stretch myself? Well I’ve never done a ranch style build (that seemed a 'bit' rustic right?) and building on my starter addiction, just how much space and luxury can I give this starlet for only 80k and make it cosy(ish!)? Had real fun with this one, playing with tutorial ideas, terrain, TOOL and MOO, and had to use every starter trick I’ve learned to keep in budget! A few things I tried didn’t survive playtesting but most worked out ok – a great challenge, thank you @buildnshare

ENTRY DETAILS: The new home of Diana Grace is her own little kingdom in the country. We have chosen to build her home in the magical countryside of Glimmer-brook, using a country farmhouse style of build to give the home a rustic feel. Using mostly white on the walls, we were able to give her the bright cheery feeling that she wanted without feeling painfully bright. Adding more color throughout house with the furniture choice, as well as the artwork on the walls.
