Sims 4 online (like gifting)? - thoughts

i guESS I'm tHE oNLy oNe, but what if they created a feature that allowed you to chat with, and play with other players online. Like y'know there'd be a toggle and whatnot if you did or not idk. Or at least something like the sims 3 where we can send gifts.

to be honest as a player I have to say no to this ideas ainxe I prefer the sims game to remain offline
