Online multiplayer is better suited to being the theme of a separate spinoff title than a feature of a main Sims game. As it is right now, the single player mode of this game still needs a lot of love and tweaking, so tacking on an online mode is probably a bad idea. Knowing how things have been going so far with the game, I shudder to think of all of the bugs, glitches, and such that such a mode would come with if it was rushed out just to appease the masses...
