I said this in another post but The sims 4 was built to be multiplayer in the beginning but they changed it but i can only imagine the coding is dead in the game still and not completely removed.
I think it would be neat though to have some sort of function online with friends it would be pretty cool to be able to build and converse when building a lot together kinda like a team effort build or just simply having your Sims visit your friends sims at their house :)
