I had the same issue with the count on paintings. When Joan Alone was ready to dream big, it only showed 3 paintings despite the poor girl being buried in her own paintings. It never updated and I just bought 12 of those cheap tiny kid paintings to bump it to the next step. Pretty sure Joan didn't mind a bathroom full of kid dinosaur paintings. Not sure how she could even see them through her constant stream of tears... Poor girl was crying a lot in the home stretch, despite her needs met and such.. I think I broke her! :p
