When I first read this I thought you meant that *I* was trolling teh forum! I was hurt, thinking, "No! I was really asking!"
But then I remembered that was an option in the game!
Anyway! I am on day 6 now, my home is not anywhere as pretty as others, I tend to make very square, functional homes.
I have just been using 'chat' on the computer. I am surprised that her social is not decaying faster than it is, I only need to chat every three days or so. She is level 7 in painting, and is almost done with her third level of the painter aspiration.
As for talking to plants, it did not occur to me to make a little garden like some others shown here. Maybe later I can renovate a little. (Is that allowed?)

Oh yeah, I was messing around with Doris's house all the time. You can build anywhere on the lot whenever as long as they don't leave the box. :D
