@fullspiral, I imagine paintings of this value are pretty rare. I'm not expecting to see another one anytime soon. Most of Carnegie's paintings are valued in the 2k-4k range. Oh, and she has Marketable; I'm sure that helped.
Thanks again, @moongodess, for posting that tip on getting your sim's paintings to register in the house's value; that painting added an easy $11k that won't depreciate. I'm really close now to completing stage 3 of Mansion Baron.
@SimPoseyYum, yeah, the amount in Carnegie's bank at that moment sort of made me do a double-take, too. I also like Carnegie's pose in that pic. "What has two thumbs and just completed a masterpiece for the ages? This gal!"
