@Piperbird1 Glad you liked my sim and her home. She really enjoyed her garden. She spent 6-8 hours a day in it, whistling merrily the while. But she never seemed to notice the plants behind the fence. I had to keep moving them as new goals appeared for her. I started out with way too many of the same kinds. I bought 4 veggie seed packets to start, thinking I might get more kinds that way.Nada.
@Karababy52 Your Serena is beautiful. Her personality seems to be a lot like my Cheyanne's, though they only share the creative trait. About selling the paintings, she can click on them and sell them at any time or you can do it yourself in buy/build mode. When she takes the painting aspiration she will need to display 25 of her paintings for one of the levels. Also every painting you save adds to the value of your house without depreciation. I started
collecting mine early and replacing them whenever Cheyanne painted a copy of higher value. Then I sold the cheaper one.
@feetinstockings To see my pics you will need to copy the url into your browser in order to go to my photobucket album.
I don't know exactly how long the royalties last. A few weeks at least. I did find that the royalties list will only hold 16 titles so if you write fast (Cheyanne) was knocking out one almost every night for a while.) the newer titles will not show up on the list. Took me a while to figure out why.
@katoregama I am awestruck at the idea of a book making $500 a day for 10 days. The highest Cheyanne has made is $398, one time, a few more a bit over $390, but not in succession. She's had one or two books that made over $300 several days in a row and others occasionally. That includes bestsellers. I couldn't tell by looking at the royalties which ones the bestsellers were. And none hit their top income on the first day. It usually took several to peak.
@Daemongrin I really like Byron's beginning house. That is very creative. That looks like a big lot. Which one is it?
@SimPoseyYum Serenity is really pretty and the barefoot look is cute. That's a nice house layout too. Looks like most of her paintings are abstract. But which style is the cat? I haven't painted that one yet.
Cheyanne has finished the challenge as of early AM on Mon, week 12. It took her 77 full sim days. She completed the painting, writing, botanist and mansion baron aspirations plus 2 levels of computer and 1 each of cooking, family, athletic, music and Renaissance sim for 115 points. She reached level 10 skill in painting, gardening, cooking, gourmet cooking and writing for 50 points. Total 188 points if my math is correct. Here are some pics of her mansion.
