I played with aging on but bought a potion 2 days before she was going to turn into a senior. That was enough to finish as an adult.
I'd say it's possible to finish with a score around this in a normal lifespan. I can check and see how far I'm back into my adult lifespan but I think I could have finished as a senior, but I wanted her still an adult to mess with a little after the challenge.
I did use the awards that were legal during the challenge on this run, I may try again with a stricter self imposed set but I really enjoyed doing the challenge. I also left points on the table... Programming/gaming/fitness and logic were all around 5 already but I had wanted to finish at week 8 and had already overshot that.

I built very little... I had a 3 x 28ish tile room full of paintings. I also had to buy the Windows, Landscaping and Pillars to get the achievements.
I'd say so far my view is paintings (you paint) or cash, build at the end.
It's not my challenge but it's your fun, I'd start over if I felt it was hopeless/not fun.
