Oh dear... @hedgekat1 and @Redliner1960 -- I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time, even though I'm highly reluctant to admit that :D). I just started a new Challenge tonight and my Sim just finished his first week. I'll pay close attention to see exactly when his bills come in.
If it truly is Monday (and I don't doubt what you are saying is true), I'll eat a SimCity Cheesecake. :) You realize, of course, that this is just a justification to eat cheesecake haha.
