@Ashkevron Wow, that looks wonderful. How are you doing with the challenge?
*blush* I had to start over. Originally this house had no sprinkler and the basic stove. Yeah....I burned to death after the first 2 weeks, didn't quite make it to two weeks.
I will start over again maybe in a week or so...I am playing around with some Granite Falls builds. I made myself a really nice bunkhouse lot. Not quite camping and not as luxurious as the cabins, still pretty spendy at over 700 per night, but it's great for a group of friends, and has a lot of nice amenities including on lot toilets and shower...so no going to those smelly public restrooms.
But back to the challenge. I had managed to go as far as I could in painting and get the never weary reward in the first 5 days. Then I started on the writing aspiration. That was going quite well. I think I was working on the 4th part of that one and was getting really close to another reward...probably hardly hungry (I had enough for steel bladder but wanted the hunger one first).
The microphone is AMAZING for keeping your social up.
Originally I had planned to remove the bed after getting the never weary reward, but they nerfed it and you still need to sleep, just not as often. I was going to put the workbench in where the bed was to level handiness to get those points as well as earn money. I still could and just use the couch for naps, to get my energy up, but as it turns out between the stereo, toilet, 2 sinks and shower, computer and tv, handiness was going up at a fair clip anyway. So I think that my time would be better spent writing and painting for money and just fixing appliances and upgrading them to level the handiness.
The guitar and bookshelves are amazingly helpful for picking up reward points on whims. Finish a book for 25 or 50. Play an instrument for 25 or 50. Talk to yourself or admire yourself in the mirror for 25 or 50. Also kinda spendy cuz you have to pay for it, but anytime you get a cook a meal whim for 25 or 50, do it, sure the food spoils eventually but a single painting can cover the cost of dozens of group meals spoiling. Also, splurging on that electronic trash can, that gives you 10 simoleons every time you dump something in there. Dancing to the stereo or listen deeply to music for 25 or 50.
Keeping track of those whims and stopping whatever you are doing to complete the easy ones...it is amazing how fast those points add up for you to spend on rewards.
