thanks, I didn't think about the Debug because I figured that would be cheating. I did change to a different aspiration so I only got 3/4 for the botanist.
I really wish that they would consider making another seed packet type for some of the other things that can be used for grafting. Since they have starter seeds and farmers seeds (which all give same items just different quantities). They could just make it available when Sims max the skill. I wouldn't expect to get any of the items you can get from grafting (ex cowplant, orchid...)but just some of the required items for grafting (strawberries, snapdragon...)
On my other saved games my sims always have a garden and grafting/splicing is one of my favorite parts
