Thanks for getting back to me. I think I just couldn't start a thread because I had not posted anything to these new Sims 4 boards yet. As soon as I posted my question, I became a "member" and was able to open this thread -- http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/798080/im-trying-to-post-to-my-first-sims-4-story#latest -- to link to my first Sims 4 story.

I like the idea of this group but hesitated to post it here because I didn't want to risk violating the rules. I mean, I keep the language clean and stuff, but, you know, better safe than banned. lol
