I also changed the narrative into this:
The planet Gallifrey, the beautiful world that you have lived and breathed in, is being destroyed. As the world crumbles and disintegrates around you, a blinding light whisks you away. You wake up in a strange land, in a different time, in an unknown epoch. This new world is unusually bright and obviously pixelized.
