Day 13: Elimination Day

Argh! Power Conservation Day is today and now we don’t have power for 12 hours! How am I supposed to hold a Rose Ceremony without proper stage lighting?!

Great. Jasmine’s freaking out about the dark again. 

Jasmine: What am I going to do? Not even my night light works! What if there’s a vampire attack? 

Kaley: It’s not night, Jasmine. Vampires are nocturnal. You stay by the windows upstairs and we’ll light some candles.

Good idea, Kaley. Candles… aka off-the-grid lighting.

I place candles all over the ceremony room (nowhere else as I don’t care. Let them suffer in the darkness.) 

Jasmine quickly changes into formal wear and sets up camp in the ceremony room. She joins Zuri in the ancient pastime of *checks notes* reading books… This activity calms her down and the two enjoy themselves.

Meanwhile, in the basement:

Eric and Kaley are playing chess. Eric asks her if he's overacting to Morgan's (alleged) betrayal. Maybe he didn't see what he thought he saw. Maybe he misinterpreted things. Should he talk it over with Morgan first before deciding anything?

Even though Kaley isn't very receptive to flirtations and such with her new Non-flirty trait, she still wants to win Eric. So she tells him:

"If anything, you're underreacting. I saw Morgan acting with impropriety with another Sim -- I can't say with whom for certain -- but trust me. It definitely happened."

Eric gasps and dramatically clasps his hands on his face. He knew it!

The Rose Ceremony begins.

I may have gone overboard on the candles...

Zuri is chosen as the top bachelorette for a second time in a row. She's thinks there's been a mistake, but accepts the rose. 

Jasmine is second, Kaley third, and Morgan doesn't receive a rose.

I am shocked! Flabbergasted! Schamoodled! 24 hours ago, Morgan was the top bachelorette. How did she end up at the bottom??!!! I know it happened at the nightclub, but unlike every other time something went down, I didn’t catch what actually happened. There were several Sims standing/sitting in the direction she’s facing and she was in convo with several Sims.    

Whatever. Honestly, I’m more upset that I can’t make a good drama out of this cause I don’t know what happened *sobs* What about my ratings? What about the producers? Will someone think of the network???

Morgan has some choice words for Eric as she departs the mansion:

"I'm hurt and angry. Eric is a hypocrite. He can flirt or make out with someone in front of one of us when he knows we love him and he expects us to just deal with it. But if he believes one of us flirts once with someone, or whatever, he can just toss us aside? After everything?"

Thus, another one bites the dust. Join us next time where the final three bachelorettes will vie for Eric's attention at the Black and White Party! See you there!
