The Careeracy - A Twist on the Legacy Challenge

Hello simmers! I have a new Legacy-type challenge for you all.

I developed this challenge while trying to make my legacy family more interesting. The basis is the same, but each generation has its own career-centered goals in order to make each heir unique and inspire different types of gameplay. Each generation will be centered around a different career, which they will need to master, as well as require different skills, collections, and home renovations along the way.

The full rules are here:

I have been playtesting this myself for quite some time as I was fine tuning it. I would love feedback (especially on the new Get Famous careers since I haven't been able to play them much yet) on whether the goals are too difficult/easy to make it a fun challenge. For example, in my playtesting I have completed 4 collections already by the start of the third gen, so I am considering upping the collection requirement from 5 to 8? Maybe 10? They do get harder as you go, so let me know your opinion!

Hope you guys enjoy & happy simming!

This looks interesting! Exploring the careers and reaching the highest level is also something I'd like to do when playing with multiple genarations in a family (at the moment I'm playing with the GTW careers).

Regarding collections: some collections are kind of tied in with a career, like the gardening collections. So those may be collected quite naturally when playing in a career. Maybe exclude those from the required 5 (or just increase the number to perhaps 8 or higher with those collections included)? Maybe it's an idea to playtest it without actively gathering collectibles, except when it's part of the career?

And another idea: have you considered using the bonus rooms you unlock at reaching level 10 of certain careers in the build/on the lot? I don't know it they're all really of use in an household, but it could be a way of showcasing the family's career achievements. It will cost money and raise the bills of course.
