I have to catch up on my posting and my blog which may not happen until next weekend when I am off work but I have been playing like a fiend and they made it!! They were both elders and Jake was 108 years old when he got his final promotion. LOL..but he survived.
Tip for those struggling: Maybe this has been said before but make sure your Sims are somewhat active. They don't have to constantly exercise but some activity such as sit ups and what not doesn't hurt. Also, I was having issues with my Sims being all in the right mood and then by the time they reach the curb their mood would change. Yeah well it doesn't hurt to either move the dang house closer temporarily OR build a freaking wall and put your inspirational stuff all along the walk way LOL. No rule against that.
Also having your kids late helps because the challenge ends when they are YA. I did have mine earlier this time but waited until they were level 8 in their career to have a child. Anyway, I will update my blog soon and you can read all about how I did it. This is the FIRST time I have gotten to level 10 in any regular career. And all I did was paint, paint, paint them into the ground. Remember you can also use your points to buy the mood fixer potion if needed. I didn't ever do it because I forgot about it. But a bath tub will save you when they are tense.
Anyway, I am sure you all will make it. I didn't think I would either. This one was hard I thought. Good luck everyone. I will update soon. :)
Right now everyone is living...let's just hope it stays that way for 5 more Sim days when Emma my heir hits teenage hood. I am praying for NO fires this time.
