@AliSim19 LOL I'm with you 100% (I finished it recently and now in the Jane Eyre.) I loved Jo and had little tollerance for Amy at the start. I wept for Beth, over and over. I did grow to tollerate Amy, while still loving Jo and weeping for Beth, to the end. I also refuse to see the movies, because I don't want to destroy the visions in my head.
The home is based upon Alcott's actual home, which is now a museum. All of the links are safe, as they are just the house. One, I believe is of the 1994 movie set house, but it looked to me that they did an amazing job. One of two of the sites also show the home at different time periods, over the past century or so. I know there are basic floor plans in one, so a lot of the design and building will be based on that, guess work, knowing the book or further research.
I am especially looking forward to seeing what people do with Jo's little writing room, as well as the parlor.
