1911- 1912
Mathilde has moved temporarily to her sister in Windenburg to help her with the little newborn baby and the extended family after her parents-in-law had died suddenly. One day, on the return from a food shopping trip, she was threatened by criminals who wanted to rob her money. As luck would have it (or simply my headcanon), John was in the near and could protected her.
She told everything to her father about this incident, and he wasn't amused about the danger of the city and he agreed to met John at all.
Mathilde told again the heroic rescue by John.
When Mathilde looked after her little sister John asked him about his blessing for the marriage and he gave him his blessing.
Mathilde was curious what John wanted from her.
He was a little bit nervous.
But he worried for nothing. :)
Today I let Wilhelm finish his university degree (year1912) and let him move back to his parents. It's time again for family pictures.
Let us start with Hedwig.
I really wish female children could have long skirts.
Ludwig und Viktoria nearly reach the senior age.
Now Wilhelm is a doctor in medicine.
I remember when my sister made her university degree in england, they made pictures with my parents too. So Wilhelm posed together his parents.
