If you are starting, or looking for a better way to make money, gardening is the best. I am talking about the DragonFruit specifically. It is a graft between strawberry and snapdragon, and my 100 baby house is really well off using this method. I have 32 perfect (this took me less than 1 generation) DragonFruit. Every 3-4 days I get 10 fruit per plant and with 32 plants that grosses me 186,000 and some. You can still make good money while waiting for it to evolve up to perfect, with painting, or writing, or to make extra money. Just wanted to pass it along.
Meanwhile my first generation is going well. I have 16 kids so far. I had my matriarch take the potion that ages you back to the first day of whatever age you are, and so she is still young adult....which might have been a mistake. She has 8 days to adult, but I don't want to play her anymore. I want to get on to the next round, but the two youngest girls (twins) they are...um, ugly. It happens, so I am going to keep having babies until I have a 'pretty' girl. I used a sim that another person created, and she is pretty, but I think with the regular people in town, or other created sims, it is not a good match. Anyway ramble over..here is the family.

I was thinking about it back along time ago, because all she does is paint.
I'm obviously going to gardening now.
I also moved houses, with a big back yard so perfect. :)
