In conjunction with post one here are a few more rules
Rules:
1. You need to make a new sim! Only 1 sim aloud at this time! Male or female it doesn't matter, It just has to be a new sim!
2. Add your sim to the cheapest empty lot, the 20x15, (1,500 is the limit to spend on the empty lot) this will be your residence! No home can be built on this lot at this time.
3. Move your sim onto the Empty lot. It doesn't matter what world, but the lot can only cost 1,500!
4. Place your retail lot on another 20x15 lot of your choosing! It doesn't matter what world, you use, just that the lots must cost only 1,500 for each!
5. Your Sim can NOT get a job, they have to run the store and the retail lot will be their only source of money!
6. No Cheats aloud with the exception of Move Objects On cheat!
7. Your Sim can have what ever trait you wish!
8.You can add Lot traits if you want! (Optional)
9. Set game on Normal Life Span! (You can buy potions to make your sim Young again if you so desire)
10. Once you have saved/earned 17,000 simoleons you can start building your house on your residences lot as stated above, (Don't forget to read the zoning rules for building on residence lot)
11. Be nice and to one another!
12. You can only start out selling 8 items, then each week on Friday you can add one more item for sale. Until you reach the Maxis limit on how many items you can mark for sale!
13. You can make your retail store what ever you want it to be, such as: You can sell books, cakes, toilets, towels, sinks, stoves, counters, paintings, wheels, plants, etc, just to mention a few! but it has to be a starter, the build can't be any more than 17,000 to start off with!
14. Your sim can't be married until they have made their first 17,000 from store sales! However, they can have a boyfriend/girlfriend, but they can't live on the lot with them till they are married, and they can't get married until they meet the required money from sales!
15. You can update your store as you go along,
16. You can download a lot from the gallery if you so desire with the 17,000 you have made from your store sales if you choose not to build your own!
17. Once your Sim has made the 17,000 in store sales and built/downloaded their home with it on the residence lot! Then Your Retail store legacy will end! (Unless you want to continue on with an heir of the first born child after being married)! Still following the same rules as the parents did!
18. If you make your on Home lot, or Shop lot, or Sim, then use the #tags below to upload them to the gallery to make it easy for others to find your work!
19. Please be respectful and don't upload other creators work to the gallery as your own!
Once you have your store going and you have made your first 17,000 you can venture out and find that one love or two or three, (well that's completely up to you how many,) and start your family and grow your business. Oh and build a house if you like once you have met all the zoning requirements!
NOTE: Once you are married, your spouse/mate can have a job but the income can't be used for the store! However, the spouse's money can be used to update the residence lot after the initial 17,000 has been spent from store earnings!
We reserve the right to change the rules as needed only to keep within the challenge!

going with rule 17:
NOTE: You can have or adopt your heir, if you adopt, it has to be as a toddler or child, but it has to be the first one unless death occurs before they get to become the heir! Then it will fall to the second child! If you only have one heir and death occurs before they can take over the store, then you will either need to have another or adopt another heir! Toddler or child
