I have only tested this store briefly.
My idea was to keep the minimal living space locked from the public.
The Trusty Rusty and a Potty Bush are available for public use.

As @BreeMiles said you don´t need to have the smallest lot if you can manage to have a bigger one. But try to keep your poor sim safe and happy! LOL
