1. I have two apple trees on my retail lot. Can I sell the the produce of these (not in the store, but in your sims inventory) and keep the money?
2. Yes dear as long as its on your retail lot you can sell your fruits and keep the money! You can even plant on your retail lot an sell! You just can't go out in the world to harvest for sale! Is all sweetie!
2. I know there's a rule where you are only allowed to transfer money between your retail and home lot on Friday, but I ran into a little problem: my sim wants to sell pictures and paintings, but the base cost for making those (you know, the 25 Simoleons for a small painting, 100 for a large one etc) is always taken out of your residence lot budget, not your retail store budget even if you make them there. That means my sim can sell pictures in his store and increase his retail store budget, but he can't make any new ones to sell because he doesn't have any money left in his residence lot budget. On top of that there's also the rule to always have a 1000 Simoleons in your retail lot budget. Now starting out with his very own pictures, he makes 2 Simoleons per item sold after restocking it haha! So that would mean he'd have to sell over 500 of them to be able to transfer any money over that 1000 to his home lot budget? Oh boy, I think I just figured out the least profitable store ever! Or are you allowed to transfer money if it's only used to create new artwork that will be future sales items? Not using the money to build anything on the residence lot you see, but to produce new sales objects for the retail store.
3. I've not done the paintings as a retail sale so I'm a bit lost on answering this question dear! I honestly don't think the game should charge us to do paintings anyways! On the keeping 1000 in store lot, is to be able to have money to restock your items once they are sold! Its not mandatory the first week to have 1000 in your store lot! I think it would be acceptable to transfer enough to paint your paintings dear in this case before Friday!
