And there it is, Jaheem's renovation of the old abandonded factory is completed and his store "Picture Perfect" is now open for business! :) It was a real struggle to stay within budget (and even have a 265 Simoleons left over to start with ;) ), but all your tips helped so much! So there's the free buydebug lights inside, free decorations from bb.showhiddenobjects, the free aloe vera plants, free terrain paints and the free wall cracks from the Vampire GP and probably a few more. :) I decided to not include objects for sale yet, as the plan is for Jaheem to create photos on his opening day to put up for sale then. Since they will have such a low profit, I did include a mural of graffiti on the side of the building. Fit with the abandoned style of the lot I thought, but it can also be put up for sale, so Jaheem will have at least one sales item that's worth more than a 100 simoleons. ;)
The other side of the lot has a little fruit garden. They are the seeds that come in the starter fruits package (apple, banana and grapes). If things go badly, at least he'll have the harvest of those to eat, or sell to keep the lights on during the first days of business. :D

The back of the lot has an easel for Jaheem to start developing his painting skill. Once he gets that up, he should be doing alright once Friday comes around and we're able to switch the items on sale. :) There's also this murky pipe coming out of the building, leftover from its factory days. Looks like it's leaving a dark stain around it but hey, so far the aloe vera plants seem to be doing alright, so it can't be that bad, right, right? ;)

On the inside, the store is pretty bare (oh, that budget issue :D ), but it leaves space to put up pictures and paintings for sale and plenty of renovating ideas for when the money (hopefully) comes running in. ;)

The apartment is so tiny I was unable to take any clear pictures inside of it lolz, so an overview will have to do. :smiley: I took on your advice and moved the sink into the apartment to prevent customers to pour glasses of water from it and leave them all over the place. Nope, the toilet, that's all they got access to now! ;) And finally, thought the metal flooring would be a nice reminder that this place used to be garage back in its factory days.
