It's all down to taste, but I love the stuff in Movie Hangout. I love all the bright patterns! I also love Toddler and Kids Room. I'm super into family play though. You might find Luxury Party helpful to your SimLits though. Maybe? Some people really hate the stuff in it. I use some of the dresses quite a bit though.
