Backstory: Hudson was the daughter that nobody in her father's family knew about. Her mother had kept her existence away from them because she did not trust the family. Her mother had been a housekeeper for her father but left the day she found out she was carrying her bosses child. She encouraged Hudson to do better in life than she had done. This resulted in Hudson publishing her first book at the age of 15 and hitting the best sellers list by the age of 17.
