As you all know, Vetle isn't very friendly with Mariana's mother. So when she recently passed away, he didn't even try to hide his excitement. Poor Mariana - losing her mother just before she gets the chance to show off the grandchild.

For the rest of her pregnancy, Mariana wasn't in a good place. She was mourning her mother without any emotional support from her husband, whose criminal lifestyle she is deeply worried about.
But the child soon arrived, and it was a little girl!

They named her Ronja after Vetle's mother who passed away when he was a teenager (and who he is partly responsible for the death of...). Welcome to the world, Ronja Justøy!
