The Super Sim Challenge: Kenneth Valerius [29.03.18]
The Super Sim Challenge
I’ve been watching a good amount of Sim videos lately, and one that I’ve wanted to do is the Super Sim Challenge, a challenge that I was first introduced to under a different name years ago: the Ultimate Sim Challenge. Throughout the series that I’ve skimmed and watched, I’ve noticed that it must be a rule to start with a young adult sim. I am omitting this rule because I feel that to have a truly super sim the toddler, child, and character traits are also important for completion. This exclusion of the young adult rule is why I am starting out with a simple nuclear family: the strict but hard working Mathis Valerius, the beautiful Jacqueline Valerius née Allaire, and their son, the future super sim, Kenneth Valerius.
The Goals of the Challenge
Ultimately, it is to complete every aspiration, get to the highest level in all careers, have all skills maxed, collect all collectibles, and buy one of everything from the rewards store. However, these steps of the challenge only really start at the young adult stage. As a toddler, child, and teen, there are other things to worry about:
Toddler: Max out all five skills before aging up.
Child: Max out all four skills before aging up, complete the four aspirations, and have an A in school.
Teen: Reach the top of each teen career (3), make sure that all five character value gauges are maxed (negative or positive doesn’t matter), and have an A in school.
Likely by the time the super sim is ready to become a young adult, the parents are dead with the teen having been left alone in the house to fend for himself. When young adulthood is reached, the super sim is to move out of their home. The only things that are allowed to be taken are the things the super sim created—paintings, books, sculptures—and any collectibles including harvestables gathered by the super sim (not the actual plant, only the harvestable). Also, grabbing the parents’ graves is a good idea. No bulldozing of the lot or selling furniture, but whatever money is in the reserve is okay to keep and use for the new place.
