I would argue if Penthesilea really deserves to be called 'a noble queen' :p but as legends always exaggerate, so I guess it's fine (she thanks the scholars for Nisídatheás graciously for saving her honor and I totally didn't need to look that name up 5 times to spell it correctly)
It's like the game of telephone, ya know. Someone says one thing, someone else thinks they hear something else and on and on down the line till the result is totally the opposite. ;)
The "loved each other with honor and sincerity" woke mixed feelings. For one, of course that's what every story, what every human aims at, what they wish for deep down and yet it's always where humans fail the most. It can either be read literally - and represent our deepest wishes, as was probably told to Nausicaa as well. You want your tribe to look good in the eyes of others and in your own eyes as well, right? You want to be proud to be part of it. Or you can read it with a drop of irony and then it is the saddest sentence ever.
Right?!?! Right?!
I love love love the solution for male babies to give them to the temple. It makes 1,000% sense.
I liked the idea toooo! I mean, like don't kill 'em or keep them around (ok, so they make money off child trafficking, but that's totally legit cuz the other families don't have sons and need them and so its a win-win for everyone.) And the priests of the War God would be all "them babies got fighting in their blood, we wants them" so moar win-win.
Nausicaa said "death lord". So death is a man in her tribe's mythology? :o
Death is Non-Binary. (Never bothered to check under Grim's robes to see). Going with the Sith Lord approach here, where errybody whose a 'Darth' gets called 'Lord': case in point ... Zash ... Malora ... Kallig .. etc.. from SWTOR (OK, maybe because Kallig is the

and they had to have some wiggle room for gender).Player Character
Edit: Went for the bonus material but almost nothing was there yet. You got me there!
I like Panouklos but his name reminds me of Patroklos and that in itself is a paradox to become confused.
Comes from panoúkla "plague"). But I threw the -os in instead.
