Hello all, since i am a little hesitant to update my first post on this showcase due to the current forum issues with posting i will give a link here with my latest build slash challenge entry. The build is inspired on the citadel of Minas Tirith in Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings'. Being a HUGE Tolkien fan i been walking around with the idea for a while and supported by @BryonyRae 's wonderful moo testing was able to pull it off finally. I am leaving a pic here. Ma sim Tirith – Faints* oops sorry have got my composure now, wow what a spectacular castle and the theme is just brilliant. The exterior design and decoration of this castle is amazing and looks so wonderful blending in with the rock. We loved all the touches of greenery and color around in the flowers and the entrance with the tile patterns, fountains, statues and lotuses really blew us away. Oh and the tree you created really was the icing on the cake in this castle. The interior decoration and design is outstanding and we loved to explore each and every room. We especially loved the flooring in the dining room it is so creative. We also loved how you managed to hide the rocks from the rooms but still made it look so well blended. The sim painted paintings were a great touch around the castle and overall the design and creativity in this build is superb. Well done you certainly have blown us away.
Critique: We felt that you could have polished up the landscaping on the bare patches around the sides of the castle to really top it off, perhaps with some terrain paint and some flowers or plants. The interior though wonderful felt the colors jumped around a bit to much in some rooms and made some feel a little out of place in different styles. Unfortunately we couldn’t access the balcony with the easels on it as the awning was blocking the door.
