Sadly, they aren't allowed to adopt. I don't think adoption was very common then among peasants, unless it was a child of a family that had died. Possibly wealthy families may have adopted, but I'm not really sure. I'm sure there were homeless children that needed adoption...Perhaps they could take in a homeless orphan. I'll have to think of something for them because the poor dears did not get pregnant on their 10th attempt either.
And thank you for that mod suggestion! This one plays as a guitar so having the lute skill would be nice!
