Decided to start a thread with some of my creations for my own archive. I've begun a US Architecture Tour, building lots and homes that encapsulate the architectural styles of some of the USA's cities, states and regions. US Architecture Tour: North Carolina Lake House

Inspired by the many cabin-like homes that dot lake coasts all over North Carolina, this lovely family home sits on top a lake. The house has three bedrooms, including one toddler room and a master suite. The family room is attached to an outdoor living spaceThe lake is accessible from every pool ladder placed, including the one off the deck, and has two separate fishing points (it's been play tested and they both work perfectly). Use MOO for landscaping and to make sure all lake items appear like in the pictures.

US Architecture Tour: New England Cape Cod

The last home in the series (unless anyone has suggestions on quintessential American architectural styles I may have missed), this home's style is named after Cape Cod, the seaside town in Massachusetts in New England. Developed in the 17th century, Cape Cod-style homes were originally built from local materials to withstand the weather conditions of the New England coast. This charming two story family home comes complete with a full kitchen, living room, two attic bedrooms and a laundry room. Built on the empty harbour-side lot in Brindleton Bay (which is in itself inspired by New England coast towns) this home fits in wonderfully with the world or any other world your Sims prefer.
