Werewolves and Lycanthropy: what i wish to see

Look, i know it has been a lot of time since we got Vampires and people are constantly asking for witches but a few hours ago i was in a "wolf-y mood" so i thought "Why not post my ideas for a werewolves GP i had like 4 months ago here and see how people react?".

It would be great to see EAxis do all of these ideas if they make a Game Pack exclusive to werewolves but i don't think they are going to do even half of this list as some of these ideas are inspired from Teen Wolf, some from The Sims 3 supernatural and finally some from the way Vampires were done in their GP. The other ideas were cooked up in my mind tho. A werewolf fan can dream!

I'll send my huge list of ideas in parts to avoid people accidentally quoting the whole list and causing wasted space.

    Create a Sim changes


    • Just like vampires and Aliens, Werewolves can be made in CAS with two forms: The Human form and the werewolf form (lets call that form "The Lycan Form" here.) You can think of it like the Dark form for vampires

    • When you create the Lycan form, the face of the new form will be based of the face of the human form with some changes (including pointy ears and semi-flattened nose) with a random facial hair

    • If you want, you can disable the Default preset and add muzzle to your werewolf's Lycan form. Pointy Ears will always be there tho.

    • In Lycan form, Werewolves either only have yellow/blue/red eye color based on their rank or have their Lycan eye color applied to their base eye color in some way (mixing the two colors together? "colored tattoos" applied to their eyes? with the ability for us to change them?)

    • New Facial Hairs and Hair models are available for sims in both human form and Lycan form (talking about the ones from TS3: Supernatural)

    • Body Hair: of course a werewolf is not a proper werewolf without a proper body hair. (If it isn't introduced to the game prior to the pack it should come to the base game in a free update.)

    • There will be new Clothes consisting of Leather jackets, Victorian-Themed Suits and casually themed clothes(which all have a ripped/torn apart form)

    Werewolf Lore skill:


    • Another lore skill that can be increased by researching werewolf knowledge from the web, reading old and expensive books and/or talking about talking about werewolves with sims who have a higher werewolf lore skill. You can also ask high-ranked werewolves for information which increases the skill.

    • Bonus points if trying to increase the Skill by searching the web or reading from old books multiple times triggers a "Are any of these actually real?" Focused moodlet that doesn't allow you to increase the skill using the mentioned means while its there.

    • While researching the skill, quotes and tips will pop up giving information about werewolves. Bonus points if they differ based on how you are increasing the skill. (different texts giving the same information)

    • Increasing this skill allows you to discover werewolves quicker when just casually talking to them.

    • Bonus points if increasing the Werewolf lore skill unlocks new recipes for meaty foods that when eaten give an energized moodlet to the eater.

    • Increasing this skill allows you to buy wolfsbane seeds using the computer (yeah yeah wolfsbane was introduced in vampires. we might as well use mistletoe instead of wolfsbane every time it is mentioned here but why did EAxis add wolfsbane in Vampires GP to begin with?)

    • Reaching level 10 of the skill unlocks a martial trick to force-transform werewolves into their Lycan form. Its basically like tapping multiple spots of the targets body so fast that the target's subconscious "panics". Force transforming the target in defense. Also reaching level 10 of the skill will give you the wolf howl sound as a file in your smartphone that you can "Play loudly" whenever you want (as a little quirky bonus for simmers)

    Lunar Cycle:


    • Lunar cycle will be added to the game, sims can look up the current moon phase using their phones or they can watch the Weather Channel and/or the player can check the calender (if Seasons is installed)

    • Bonus points if The Lunar Cycle is added in the pre-patch to the base game.

    • In full moon "Weak" werewolves force-transform and all werewolves get a +1 Happy moodlet (Bonus points if its +1 Energized instead)

    • In new moon werewolves won't be able to use some of their powers (such as supernatural speed) and will get a +1 Tense moodlet

    • Bonus points if Lunar eclipses can happen once or twice a year, forcing werewolves to transform into their human form and they lose all of their powers during the eclipse

    • Also Bonus points If Super moons can happen. Force transforming all werewolves to their Lycan form and giving them a +3 Energized (or +3 Tense depending on various factors like werewolf lore skill and what they were doing before transforming)

    • And also bonus points if Blood moons can happen. Making the enviorment have a red tint and giving all werewolves a +4 Angry moodlet (+3 if they have the "Controller of the beast within" Power, +1 If they have the "Master of Transformation" Power). Werewolves who don't have any Powers relating to shapeshifting can autonomously slap sims and get in fights with them.

    Werewolves in society: Autonomous actions and Social Interactions


    • Werewolves usually go around only in their human form and try to hide their secret from everyone, except their best friends, their supernatural friends and their lovers.

    • Sims can see if someone is a werewolf by using werewolf lore skill tricks (scaring them with fake wolfsbane, using the martial trick to force-transform them, etc) or simply just by "Ask for deep secrets" interaction

    • Bonus points if discovering a werewolf's true identity gives a Confident "I knew it!" moodlet to the discoverer.

    • Most sims get a +2 Tense moodlet if an unfriendly werewolf walks around them in Lycan form. Bonus points if sims with Werewolf Lore skill and the Geek trait get a Focused "I have to experiment on that werewolf over there" moodlet

    • Sims that have wolf-phobia can place wolfsbane around their house to prevent Werewolves from autonomously appearing into the lot.

    • When a sim discovers a werewolf's true identity, new interactions are unlocked such as "Ask to turn", "Ask to turn sim...", "Pay to turn sim...", "Ask about life as a wolf", "Debate about pros and cons of being a werewolf", "Ask to transform", "Can you actually become a Wolf?", "Ask about opinion about other occults" etc

    • There are new social interactions for werewolves (mostly the ones that are introduced in TS3: Supernatural) such as "Complain about being a werewolf", "Tell a joke about shedding", "Growl at", "Ask for food", "Complain about always being hungry", "Brag about Wolf energy" etc

    • Bonus points if the pack adds the option to have "Werewolf break-ins" like what is included with Vampires GP. on the nights this happens a random werewolf comes to your house, picklocks the door's lock with their claws and then goes at the refrigerator to eat stuff and will take every food that contains meat from there before leaving. It should only happen when all sims are sleeping tho.

    • Bonus points if werewolves have a chance of autonomously asking their best friends and/or sims they are in love with to turn them into Werewolves (or just attack their enemies trying to turn them because why not) when in Lycan form

    • All Werewolves should Autonomously turn into their Lycan form when having an Intense Emotion unless they have perks and weaknesses that i'm going to talk about Below. Bonus points if they get appropriate moodlets for each Emotion they transform while in. (Embarrassed for Flirty, Inspired and Confident, Angry for Angry, Happy and Focused, Energized for Energized, and Uncomfortable for Fine)

    • "Rub belly", "Sniff inappropriately", "Ask to play fetch" and "Cutely Bark at" Interactions should be available to every werewolf. But if they do them to anyone they don't have a high relationship with (or werewolves that have the "Puppy Tendencies" Weakness) gives them a +1 Embarrassed moodlet. (+2 if they did the interaction with another werewolf who doesn't have the "Puppy Tendencies" Weakness)

    • A werewolf should be able to instantly Recognize other Stranger werewolves passing by outside or in a room by using the "Smell the air with wolf-tier senses" interaction.

    Becoming a Werewolf:


    • Sims can "Ask for bite" or "Ask for cursed Scratches" from werewolves in their Lycan form. if the request is accepted, the werewolf will bite the sim's hand or scratch it with claws respectively (giving the target sim a +15 Uncomfortable Moodlet) then they will stick a big plaster to the sim's hand to prevent it from bleeding

    • Werewolves in Lycan form can also "Give the werewolf curse" to people by fighting them or "Ask to turn"

    • If successful, the target will turn into a werewolf in two days (or in next full moon)
      but if not, the sim will puke and get sick for a while

    • Sims can't be turned into werewolves when pregnant, sick or younger than teenagers

    • New babies have a 50% chance of becoming a werewolf if one of the parents is a werewolf or a 100% chance if both parents are werewolves

    Needs as a werewolf:


    • When becoming a werewolf, Hygiene and Energy needs are replaced with "Werewolf Energy" need.

    • Other than times when Powers/Weaknesses use Werewolf Energy, This new need is basically the same as Energy. but if it drops too low, werewolves will transform into their Lycan form before passing out

    Werewolf Rankings:
    Werewolves, just like Vampires, have a ranking and power points system consisting of several ranks as listed below:


    • New Omega (NO)

    • Omega (O)

    • Beta (B)

    • Alpha (A)

    • True Wolf (TW)


    Omegas have yellow eye color, while Betas have a blue eye color and Alphas and True Wolves have red eye color.
    To become a Beta, you have to join a pack.

    Werewolf Powers:


    • Supernatural Empathy (NO): Allows werewolves to "Drain pain" from their friends and lovers by using Werewolf Energy which gives the target a +3 Happy moodlet for 2 hours

    • Energized wolf (NO): Werewolf Energy need drops slower than usual

    • Good Gatherer (NO): allows the werewolf to "Hunt solo" for collectibles

    • Pick-locker Claws (NO): allows the werewolf to open locked doors by unlocking the door using claws

    • Adapted to the wild (NO): Unlocks the ability to eat raw meat and raw fish

    • Wolf-ish Howl (O): No longer werewolf howls sound like sick cat meows!

    • Better Smelling sense (O): allows the werewolf to see if certain people are in the lot simply by breathing deeply outside the house

    • Cursed Fangs (O): Unlocks the ability to turn others into werewolves using bites

    • Cursed Claws (O): Unlocks the ability to turn others into werewolves by scratching their hand

    • Better Emotional Control (O): Werewolf will not force-transform into Lycan form when they have an intense emotions however their Werewolf Energy will drop faster when they have one.

    • Better muscles (B): Werewolves will learn the athletic skill faster when working out and its easier for them than normal sims to become thin and muscular

    • Wolf Speed (B): Werewolves will run faster when in Lycan Form

    • Wolfsbane Resistance (B): Werewolves will only lose their powers for 6 hours instead of a day

    • Good Hunter (B): Hunting has a better chance to give the werewolf valuable collectibles

    • Controller Of the Beast within (B): The Werewolf will not force-Transform into Lycan form when in full moon, instead the Werewolf Energy will drop faster

    • Infrared View (B): when using Infrared view, Werewolves can see the odds of people successfully turning into werewolves by other werewolves (Warmer people have a lower chance while cooler people have a better chance)

    • Creature of the night: Transforming into Lycan form at night gives the werewolf a "Creature of the night" +2 energized moodlet which lasts until the next day. (unless a Super moon, Blood moon or Lunar Eclipse is happening)

    • Terrifying Howl (A): Howling scares other sims, giving them a +2 Tense moodlet and their Bladder need drops by half

    • A Leading Werewolf(A): Werewolves can make their own packs (and buy a Pack Hideout Lot if they don't have the werewolf lore skill requirement)

    • Effective Cursed Fangs (A): Biting others is guaranteed to turn them into werewolves

    • Memory Watcher (A): The Werewolf can "View Recent Memories" by sinking claws into the back of the neck of a sim, this interaction takes two hours and after its done, the Werewolf will get a +2 moodlet depending to the target's main mood. The Target will pass out after the process tho.

    • Tamed Hunger (A): The Hunger need will drop slower

    • Effective Cursed Claws (TW): Scratching Other sims' hands is guaranteed to turn them into werewolves

    • Wolf Form (TW) (requires Cats and Dogs and doesn't show up as an option unless it is installed): Werewolves can now fully transform into Wolves and go wild into the city! (If transformed back to Lycan or Human form they will become naked)

    • Full Wolfsbane Resistance (TW): Wolfsbane doesn't have any effects on werewolves

    • Respected by Others(TW): The Werewolf can change the owner pack of every Pack Hideout as he wants!

    • Lone Wolf (TW): The Social need drops much slower than usual

    • Master of Transformation (TW): These werewolves are so much professional in transforming into Lycan form, they can change the shape and amount of the fur and hair and facial hair of their Lycan form in CAS!!!

    @SinaMegapolis not saying this to be a critic your idea is good but i doubt they will do the last part of your list wolf transformingback to there human form the way you think because of the teen rating of the sims4 i would not mind werewolves ingame if they include a toggle to turn them off in game

    Werewolf Weaknesses:


    • Not a Good sleeper (NO): when in Lycan form, sleeping doesn't regenerate Werewolf energy as fast as when in Human form unless the bed is expensive.

    • Improper Eater (NO): Werewolf eats in a wild way (=without fork and spoon. like what you can see with werewolves in ts3: Supernatural), disgusting sims with Neat, Snob and/or Squeamish Traits. Lowering relationship with them.

    • Uncontrollable Anger (NO): When in Lycan Form, Werewolves happen to get a +1 Angry moodlet most of the times and for no reasons other than having a beast within

    • Sloppy Eater (O): Eating Food doesn't replenish Hunger Need as much as usual unless it's a meaty food with higher than nice quality.

    • Guilty Werewolf (O): Giving the werewolf Curse to other sims without asking them gives the werewolf a +4 Tense Moodlet for 6 hours

    • Wolfsbane Invulnerability (O): Staying Around Wolfsbane Plant for too long or eating it will cause the werewolf to die!

    • Uncontrollable Growling (O): Controlling a beast within is a hard task, so its not rare to see werewolves scaring other people with growling autonomously

    • Not enough moon (B): When in new moon, new crescent (or whatever its called) or Half Moon, the Werewolf Energy drops to half of the bar and doesn't replenish to more than that

    • It's Difficult to transform! (B): Transforming Between Human form and Lycan form takes Werewolf energy

    • Light-Phobia (B): The Werewolf gets a +3 Tense Moodlet when in a room with a lot of lamps turned on because of their too-improved eyes

    • Ear-Tearing Howls (A): the howling sound is so bad that listening to it gives other sims a +2 Tense moodlet for a hour

    • Ineffective curse transportation (A): The chances of failure for turning other sims into werewolves increases

    • Puppy Tendencies (A): The werewolf gets a desire to act like domestic dogs, playing with trash piles on ground and autonomously asking other sims to rub belly or play fetch and autonomously scratching furniture. Werewolves with this trait will not get embarrassed moodlets when asking other sims to lay fetch or rub their belly or things like that.

    • Incomplete Transformation (TW): The werewolf will have a tail and dog feet in Lycan form which makes it hard to walk on two foots (=chances of falling down when walking too much)

    • Uncontrollable Hunger (TW): The hunger needs drops much faster and replenishes very slowly when in Lycan form except when the werewolf eats perfect quality meaty foods.
