What do you think is happening on this boat?

Hey, I went with literally the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the boat! Sorry! 🤣

"Not so funny now is it?" 

Jefferey's face was red, the sweat running from his brow, as he looked up at his captor.  This had not been the cruise he had imagined.  The ridiculousness of the situation made him want to stop but the fear kept him going.  

'One foot in front of the other' he whispered to himself.  Glancing to his left he saw the steamer's captain, now as helpless as the rest of them, trudging around in his own cylindrical prison.  It had all happened so fast and, to be fair, it was so fantastical that even when it was happening it was like watching a dream.  By the time they had all realised that it was not only possible, but happening, it was complete.  They were prisoners.  Slaves to their new furry overlords.

The voice of their captor echoed through the bowels of the steamer.  Strangely squeaky, a sound that had never been more than a background annoyance now filled their heads and made them shudder, like that feeling when you chew polysterene.

'Pathetic humans! For decades we have run in wheels for your "entertainment" while you eased your guilt by calling it our "exercise".  Well, now, now it is your turn!  Walk in these wheels of your own creation! Turn that mighty paddle!  For now you are forever doomed to power this meaningless human vessel for the 'entertainment' of your kin on the shore!!'  A squeaky laugh ensued, almost beyond the range of Sim hearing, before the furry captor left the engine room and headed on deck.

The captured Sims looked at one another, as they moved slowly in their Sim sized wheels.  They knew there was no escape. Soon Jefferey broke the silence with a question they all wanted to ask but it was left hanging in the air as there was no answer that could suffice.

'Jimmy.' Jefferey addressed a small boy, chained to the bulkhead, 'Why did you have to bring your hamsters on board?'

'I love seeing this boat sail past, it makes me wonder what kind of stories could be happening on that boat.' mused CrispySims619 as she watched the boat pass for the thousandth time.  Too far out to hear the cries.
