- I need more traits and aspirations.
I also love exploring hidden worlds. I wish there were more of those. And quests and stuff.
I also want more, creative fruits when my sim is gardening. - - A trait rework. (Not "more" traits, but a redesign of how the current traits and behaviors work. Big ask, I know.)
- Cars / career-themed carpools / firetruck / school buses (Do we really not have SCHOOL BUSES in TS4?? Should have come with base game.)
- Better skintones/hair swatch themes.
- On that note, fix the buy and build swatch themes. But Sims come first.
- A color wheel — HA! :)
- Body hair, custom tattoos, and better skintones and hair would be awesome.
- Firefighters rework (they need to be quicker, arrive in firetrucks, and stop berating my Sims)
- Burglars and burglar alarms! Come on... this is a basic Sims game feature.
- Ceiling tiles. After The Sims 3, I would expect this feature in The Sims 5.
- Build-A-World / World Editor tool (This is important to help ensure TS4 stays playable after the launch of The Sims 5)
- Better behind-the-scenes transparency with the customers. Game update summaries are great, but we should have the opportunity to know what they're working on, as they are working on it. Especially as "community-focused" and "inclusive" as they claim to be. Hint: Take a cue from the Paralives team. :)
Not “more, more more.” But rather: fix, fix, fix.
Edit: Just learned about this Sims 4 Dev Talk video, in which the very concept is a fresh breath of air! Check it out!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puc3Fcovkz4 - SimburianNew TravelerI'd just like a proper manual. With everything in it.
ie: How each additional pack interacts with packs already made, making new ones worthwhile buying. :) - Personalities and gameplay consequences.
- FriendlySimmersNew Travelerretro furniture and appliances and a topload washer with matching dryer and toggles to turn off unuse features ingame
- AncientMuse2Seasoned RookieUnfortunately, my wishlist is for things that will never happen in the Sims 4:
- all bugs, glitches, and weird annoyances (ie: repetitive autonomies causing sims to stop in the middle of an assigned task) completely fixed
- an open world (buh bye loading screens)
- better terrain tools (ie: the ability to make ponds for fishing/swimming)
- the ability to create/edit worlds and add more lots to already existing ones
- the ability to build our own apartments and other multi-family lots
- more venue/community lot types to choose from
- colour wheels and pattern/swatch customizers
In a nutshell: pretty much everything we had in the Sims 3 regarding customization of our games, our sims, and the worlds they lived in. - Basically you need to make it possible to do ALL the stuff we had in Sims 3 already, and you already thinking about launching a new Sims line (5) is ridiculous when you haven't even finished making the Sims 4 as good as Sims 3 was.
- color wheel and pattern/texture swatch
- be able to create your own apartment lots for multiple families
- open world! You could always add neighbourhoods to the outskirts of the already existing neighbourhoods, it would be a better way to organize the game instead of the never ending loading screens
- CARS! I cannot express this enough, it is seriously weird that people just teleport from home lot to e.g. school or community lots
- for pete's sake: fix the damn glitches! I don't want to ask my sim to do something only for them to decide mid-task 'Naah I don't wanna do this'
- more NORMAL furniture options, more modern stuff e.g. L-couches, glass shelving, kitchen appliances (I would LOVE to have the option to place the stove top and oven separately!)
- the ability for your sims to hold babies/toddlers while doing tasks, talking with others or just simply sitting, it is a normal human action (you would NEVER leave a baby alone in another room unattended!)
+ It would be amazing to finally have this one feature which I've been dying for: the ability to create floor levels that are partially underground and partially above ground on a hill lot. These types of houses are normal where I live and it would be awesome to be able to that in the game... - Ooh almost forgot! Rounded walls would be awesome too!
- Peapod79New SpectatorTraits and aspirations that mean something. It does no good to just add more of them while they don't do much. Aspirations should be more like life goals rather than game tutorials. Traits should affect the sims' behavior, like a creative sim who gets fun from painting (for example). Relationships between the sims themselves also needs adjustments. If my sim's husband cheats on her, she should be MAD, and for a good while too. He should have to work at forgiveness. Giving the sims some depths to their personalities. It would be a pretty big overhaul and I don't expect it really, but it's nice to dream about.
- I would like to see farming being able to be a farmer should be just like working or being a vet, but adding cows, pigs, horses, chickens, and so on.
