Well that was short lived, Don is trying to be better, so he cut ties with her he didn't know she was in labor and she will be notifying him that he is not allowed near his children if they aren't together. She is definitely the type and Osasis Springs has rules that most worlds abandoned long ago, part of him will think it is for the best since he knows he doesn't love her. Perhaps one day he'll feel differently but not now.

One of my mods adds in some phone calls, (I can mention them as they are 100 percent g rated, no I wont link it because I don't think for mod rules everything fits that rule at least to be mentioned.) anyhow Mortimer called Dina to say he wanted to see her. She said no as Nina had just had Don's triplets, but he immediately called her back asking if he could just see her for a bit. Dina is still rather self-centered and materialistic, however, while she supports her sister's decisions she knows she doesn't want that. If she is going to have any children she wanted to be married. Not really a moral thing to her she only remembered when their mother passed she had been sad she never got to see one of them walk down the aisle. She wouldn't share the dream with her sister knowing she'd just laugh at her as if she only cared about material things, she did but not entirely. She was surprised he stayed on the line while she mentally argued with herself and told him to come but wait outside while she helped get the babies settled.
Naturally, he was delighted to do as she asked.

Nina didn't bother talking to them just maybe a little worn out still from giving birth though she was still going back and forth like she might say something. She was bitter though, who did Don think he was breaking up with her? She wasn't remotely jealous, no way.

Before he left she let him know she was expecting and he assured her her place would be waiting for her when she was ready to move in. On his way back his daughter called to let him know it was finally happening. At first he had no clue, normally no matter how busy he made it a point to assure his children he cared about them and focused on what they were doing and who they were friends with to the best of his schedule's ability, but he really wasn't sure what she had been waiting for which made him feel a touch bad. She quickly explained the investigator had finally tracked down Bella, he nearly choked on every breath of air he'd ever had.

For a minute they just stared at each other before he moved to give her a little kiss, she accepted but their kids came down for a hug and they could only part.

"We missed you so much mother."
"And I missed you all teardrop."
Cassandra reluctantly pulled away to let Alex get close he was a little unsure since she had been so long when he was so young but he was happy to see her anyways. Mortimer looked around her little shack, with the remains of the crash still here he could almost figure how she got here he knew that alien was involved but he didn't know if he had a change of heart or if he just got bored before leaving her. It didn't matter that was one thing they would never know, even the investigator's memories had been altered to a point. He didn't have any head injuries, a bald gentleman, but even he seemed unsure of what was real when he found Bella. It no longer mattered she was home. He tensed at the idea with Dina expecting he had moved on, he knew it was wrong to keep her on lockdown but he could entertain the idea they were still family.

Just in a different way.
As they agreed to part Bella decided she didn't want to know how he spent his time when she also thought she might pass all alone.
"Don't be upset teardrop you can still come visit and I'll be around for everything."
"How can you say that?? You're still not coming home..."
Bella only offered a sad smile she didn't want to say she'd understand when she was old but they had this decision to make and she didn't think it would ever change.
"Nonsense, home is where your beloveds are, don't forget."
She sniffled but then it was their family namesake tragedy was always taken in stride....eventually.
She nodded as Bella tried to console Alex who naturally could take it easier with the separation, still, he missed her and wasn't sure of the best way to say it.
He wanted both his parents to be happy.

He gave her some money to get started though it was harder to part with than he expected it made everything feel so final, just because it was their decision didn't mean it was easy, just needed.
