Ahem back to the regularly scheduled program.
Bella was glad to get a place with so many moving out (I culled a few...yay) but she didn't really want to be alone she just felt unwelcome when they were mad at her. She didn't blame the kids and she knew plenty of what Mortimer was thinking they had known one another forever and a day it seemed. Though she did have someone to check in with, she wasn't sure where her parents and brother were living now and hoped someone would tell her but she remembered where she last saw Don.
She wondered which of the Caliente sisters he ended up with, alright that was the rational side of her mind that said it was a bad idea.
The other side of her hoped he didn't have anyone, at least a little.

She still had her key she found it in her jacket pocket when she woke up in the crash site, his dog gave a half-hearted bark but didn't really care. When Don walked in from the back he stopped short, pretty sure he was imagining things for a moment, he was tired and working even longer hours it wouldn't be the first time he thought he saw Bella.
"Bella....?"
"Hi Don." she said turning to him just so, he shook his head his imagination was getting the better of him.
"Come have a seat."
He nodded absently and moved to do as she said., imagination or not.

She went on to tell him about the abduction from his roof, not that he needed a reminder he still had nightmares she had been waiting for him to bring drinks he dropped the nectar bottle he was convinced she never would have been taken if he had just called her in to help...anything. Just what he wanted to think about today.
"Anyhow I am finding myself a little...too alone for my liking right now I hope you don't mind me stopping by."
"..O...of course not."

Not something his mind normally told him, he smiled all the same.
"Come stargaze with me."
"No I can't..."
"I'm okay....or I will be."

He wasn't so sure but it was far more appealing than going to his room alone again.
Before she left she let him know where her place was.

Finally alone, really, everything just seemed a little much, even with Mortimer calling to set her up with a job at his company she couldn't focus on normal things just on everything that was going wrong.

When Don awoke to find out of course he wasn't just hallucinating he rushed to tell her, well he didn't know but she was certainly more important to him than anyone would ever be. She was the wall Nina was hitting.

Cassandra dropped off Alex for a visit, Bella was a little disappointed she didn't want to visit too, though it helped Don and Alex were there at least.

Maybe she'd be okay, in time.
