Would you like a Pre-teen kit?

If it keeps an extra life stage out of my game and provides it for those who want it then bring it on.

I think any new life stages should be in a free patch to be honest.

I wouldn't mind pre-teens being added to the game, but they should be a free patch. In my opinion, life stages should NEVER be DLC!

I'd rather have Justine Keaton than preteens.

I just think they'd be useless in the game. There's no real gameplay for them that couldn't be added to children or teens.

I'm kind of torn here - mostly because I want kids to be able to do things they can't currently in their current life stage, like help in the garden more. Not without mods anyway. So for those things a preteen or tween stage would be nice. On the other hand, I don't really feel like we need more life stages, but that's me - we have the basics. But if they were added, I may love them and want them for all other Sims games. *shrug* And yes, all of the life stages need way more content. How is it that we have more DLC and free patches than ever before, yet Sims 4 still has less than Sims 2 did? Can't compare to Sims 3, as I never played it - those pudding faces... *shudder*

Nah. Kids, before they age up to teen, look like preteens anyway. Close enough. Too many fine gradations, each needing their own set of clothing options and everything else, makes a byzantine messy soup of a game that can't even get around the mindless puppet personality problem enough to have actual gameplay value consistent with what made The Sims great in the first, second, and third place.

More stages, more clothing, more furniture...none of it can change the big problem which is that the Sims in Sims4 are marionettes.

Adding, in response to a point someone brought up, that they need preteen activities...isn't that what Scouts and Drama Club are? What, in addition to Scouting or Theater, plus other options like piano and violin, art, and science, are they missing out on?

They should fix the existing life states before adding new ones (cough 1. babies cough 2. children cough 3. elders)

I feel there's enough life stages that get neglected already ?, I'd rather the developers give more in depth gameplay to the life stages we have in the game already instead of adding more to be shallow with lol

1. They need to be added to the BG if we want them to get more clothing and objects in other packs
2. They require too much animation to be a kit and they need clothing as well, and kits are either gameplay or cas or build mode
