- LaBlue0314Rising ScoutI have always wanted two stages for the teens, with the height difference.
- simmyfroggyNew SpectatorI would, if there isn't the option of making Teens look more like Teens instead and differ more from YAs.
- SharoooniaNew SpectatorSure, why not? They aren't exactly something I'm desperate to have but at the same time I think they could be nice.
- For TS4, no. I think it's fine without and introducing a new life state this late I feel is unnecessary. If they were to be added, however, I wouldn't be upset. I know a lot of people do want them, I am just not one to fight for this in particular. If there is a Sims 5, I do hope that it does have gradual aging. That would be so cool.
- Fluteline24New SpectatorThey aren't needed. There's nothing unique about preteens that teens and children can't do.
- ValiantRedKnightNew SpectatorImagine how little content there would be for them, especially in cas.
- SmellincoffeeNew AdventurerI'd be interested in seeing that developed. I may not like the results as developed.
- HopeyStarrRising TravelerRather than a hard no, I'm more on the fence. I used to want preteens really badly, but now that I've gotten into legacies I would find the jump from child to preteen unnecessary (which is also influenced by the fact that I like to change my sims' outfits every time they age up - even npc sometimes - and that means more work in cas). Instead of adjusting coding for a presumable new height that preteens would have I'd prefer if the team worked on improving children and teens to make them more interesting.
- DaWaterRatNew VanguardI'm trying, but I can't really see a benefit in the long run. It's yet another life stage that will be poorly supported because they'll need all new clothing meshes and animations, and while I get that there's a lot of age jumping in the sims developmental years (from 2-4 to 8-10 to 15-19) the absence of a Pre-teen stage doesn't really bother me, and I don't see what new gameplay they would bring that would be worth the cost of their development.
- No, because in terms of game-play I don’t know how they would differentiate them from teens.
