Would you like to see destructive weather in The Sims 4?

I know it would be so cool, I wanna see it so bad :D

It might be fun, but at the same time, I see enough destructive IRL so I think it would get exhausting real fast. There would have to be an option to disable it.

I'd love this idea! I'm a huge meteorology nerd and extreme weather options would please me greatly. Make it appropriate to season and just destructive enough to keep things interesting while your sims get back on their feet. (Maybe introduce new death types from it, too.) But make it able to be disabled. It won't be everyone's cup of tea.

I'd also love a meteorologist career track that could get something similar to the weather machine or a reward that lets them predict when extreme weather is about to hit and take precautions.

If implemented, destructive weather should be somewhat rare. Not as rare as meteors in TS3, but close.

The career idea is awesome, I'd take that career path no questions asked. I'm a huge storm nerd, I live in the UK so our weather is pretty mundane, I have seen 3 tornadoes here though, I shouldn't really complain, I was just in the right places at the right times xD

I remember the time I had a meteor shower in Sims 3... that was bizarre. My Sims were getting ready to go to work etc.... BOOM meteors and craters and fires EVERYWHERE. It was crazytown. I think it'd be a cool idea, but I'd just wonder about the clean-up.

I would not like to see damage on my lots. That would remind me too much at natural disasters.

This might be neat, but I think we'd have the the toggle like the supernatural beings in TS3 (in that we could pick and choose which ones we wanted to appear in game).

Like, the extreme weather choices might be extreme snowfall (with no electricity), tornadoes, and lightning storms. We should be able to toggle that say, we don't want tornadoes but the extreme snowfall is ok.

That would actually make it more realistic too. Not all places get the same type of extreme weather.
