Wouldn't it be cool if they made an expansion for villains?

Think about it. Improved romantic socials for mean sims, and more villainous behaviors and careers. Perhaps even a career where you follow them and actually do villainous things. I thought about this while trying to have a sim do an enemies with benefits scenario, along with the criminal career. It would be cool to have some better anti-heroes in the game. Maybe a perk tree for villains too. What would you like to see in such a pack?

  • I love you @Assimulo we definitively need more spice in this too much quiet game. o:)
  • I honestly don't know if this interests me but I'm fine with them releasing a GP around this theme even if I'm undecided about it. I'm generally open to new content ideas.

I'm editing this to add that I have played with a lot of drama in the past so I'd be open to new ways to have that, I think. I just want to option to have some of my households stay "happy little families".

I watch a lot of Marvel movies and DC TV shows. The main difference between the heroes and villains is not what their powers are, usually, but how they use them. That should always be something determined by the players. Some players are good at creating and using villain characters. Others are not. Evil and Mean Sims are already born villains. With Get to Work, technically you could create a Simvillain (or at least a Sim arsonist) with the SimRay. With Get Together, your Simvillains can go around sabotaging objects. Base game Simvillains can hack computer systems (why risk getting caught robbing the bank when you can go digital), and Simkleptos can already steal objects. So all we really need for a villainy pack would really just be some superpowers that could be used for good or evil. DC has already explored the idea of an evil Superman, and Marvel has already explored the idea of an evil Spiderman. If you wanted certain types of addictive edible substances (not just coffee), gore and horror in the game...sorry, I really think the majority of Sim players, AND the ratings board, would veto the idea. However, mind control/casting illusion on other Sims: Aliens and vampires already show some of this in their powers. I would be for adding villainy as a skill however: something for players with Sims who have maxed out their Mischief skill. I would also LOVE to see capes and CAS back-worn objects (like wings, backpacks) in the game. Those could be used for multiple purposes, and would also look great on vampires.

    No.

    Yeah, no.
  • I like this idea.
I'd like to see the villains actually be bad instead of cartoon characters..
In general, I would just like to see the Sims grow up and be more adult and realistic..

Well it might actually stand a chance if they don't allow the community to vote on it.

What you don't want a finger painting stuff pack over something new and interesting? How about a stuff pack on tying shoes?

Nah not enough gameplay and no replay value. Now a SP about calculating W2 deductions or a dust collecting hobby, now that's REAL gameplay.

A pack about villainy tho? I can get behind it. Like, I barely make evil sims since they're not that much different from mean sims
(if there even is a difference between the 2) and they dont do anything even remotely "evil". The only reason I would make an actual evil sim is to just have them do some actual deplorable stuff to other sims thanks to mods.
  • I personally have trouble actively doing mean interactions, but maybe if it offered more to do it would incite me to corrupt some of my Sims. Creating an evil Sim could be fun.
