Your Willow Creek Remodels

I'm interested in seeing remodels of existing homes or businesses in Willow Creek if you have any you'd like to share. I've been updating the town recently; replacing a few buildings, but mostly updating and remodeling the old ones, kind of like how a town would grow and change over time. Here are some screenshots from the Goth mansion. I opened up the living room and kitchen to make the first floor an open concept, and I turned the dining room into a bedroom for grandma so she wouldn't have to climb the stairs as much. It's not pictured, but there's a downstairs bathroom now, too.

  • @PastelMermaid I'm doing a little bit with each generation so it's not so overwhelming, so maybe that could help you to do it that way. I actually remade my museum into a veterinary clinic, so I don't always stick with the original function either.

@rosemow Thank you so much for all of the kind things you said about my lot. It makes me happy that you like it.
  • I've thought about doing this but haven't known where to start.. I wanted to "redesign" the lots like the museum and such but nothing I've done ADDS to the building... it just looks naff - so I'm working on things I could do - adding other lots like different parks and such but where I don't have every pack yet.. finding alternatives for the items I don't have can be fun...

Just don't know how to get my teeth into it yet.

I want to eventually do all the worlds and have all the lots full - houses, venues of all kinds, parks, wedding venues and stuff. Just such a big project.
  • Your makeover of the Goth house looks very nice! :) Very nice open plan layout of the kitchen, dining and living room area! The blue and white colour scheme looks very nice, and the type of and colour of the curtains used give a great look to the room areas. Very nice sofa and armchairs sitting area near the fire for Sims to rest and chat together. The picture is a nice touch on the fireplace wall. Very nice kitchen cabinets wall feature area in the kitchen! The kitchen items are a nice touch on top of the cabinets, and the island workbenches look great there. Very nice green and white colour scheme of the bedroom. The green patterned curtains and the white wall panelling look very nice together.
It is a very nice makeover of the home! :)
