im not knew to the sims i have played the sims since the start but i cant handle it anymore i have cerebal palsy and other disabilties chonic pain and c PTSD the sims is my escape and now my game is broke i have tried everything im so sad i have cried and im 46 years old they need to make it so updates can be optional it is not fair to simmers
well after a week of frustration and real tears my game is playable again with cc i did the 50/50 method and it somehow worked im so happy i can sim again yay lets hope theres not another patch for a long time!!!!
Also Sims is my only escape from life tbh as well. Sims stims my tisim
If you have an older version of your game like the one before the market place update. I recommend copying the bin files and pasting them over the new ones until they iron out these problems. That is what I did and if steam or ea app makes you update after that just do it again about the update. and you should be just fine.
Hi Carly, I'm also having issues. I've been playing the Sims since the first generation. I know its rough. I'm 56. I'm attached to my families as well. I'm not going to ask if you have tried this or that. Just here to say I see you. I get it. Hang in there though. I know you can do saves to thumb drives so if we lose out game play we can reinstall whatever the latest save to it has been. It's a little hope.
