[AA] Can’t bulldoze individual parts of the modular playground equipment

Not sure if it’s a bug or intentional, but I hope it’s a bug.

After building a modular playground, if I want to change/replace a part and try to delete that part, everything gets deleted, or at least huge chunks depending on where I’ve placed the modular part I want to change/replace.

The decorative fences, slides etc. are fine, it’s those the sims are meant to walk on/through.

It’s frustrating: I wanted to change one or two parts of my modular playground, but I didn’t want to delete everything and start over.

Never used mods/cc on this save.

My modular playground is part of my playground lot on the gallery, simply called ‘Large Playground’.

EDIT: Removed thread tag. Please either choose never or mods removed. If you had mods in and removed them, it's removed (even if it's a different save). If you never had any or not in a long time, choose never.
