Add Age Reversal, Eternal Youth, and Resurrection Potions

I think these would be great additions to the potions that Spellcasters can already create in Realm of Magic, giving them more ways to manipulate life and aging. After all, who needs immortality if it doesn't come with eternal youth?

Age Reversal Potion: Moves a Sim back by one life stage, but cannot make them younger than a Young Adult.

Eternal Youth Potion: Permanently stops a Young Adult or older Sim from aging. Unlike the Immortality Potion, it wouldn't prevent death from other causes—it would simply stop natural aging.

Resurrection Potion: Brings a deceased Sim back to life. While Ambrosia already serves this purpose, a magical potion would provide Spellcasters with a more direct supernatural method of resurrection.

These would be great additions for storytelling, legacy families, and players who want more control over their Sims' lifespans and supernatural abilities.

  • There is already a potion drink in the rewards menu that reverses the age of the sim back down to zero. It essentially does what you are asking by reversing the age bar back to zero.

  • You are wrong as the potion that exists in game only reverts the sim back to the beginning of their current stage not to a previous stage, It won't revert an adult sim to a young adult for instance.

UberDrew1, I did say it reverted to the beginning of the age bar. I never said it would change an adult to a young adult. You just and an age down treat for sims that age not pets.

    Here are your own words:
"There is already a potion drink in the rewards menu that reverses the age of the sim back down to zero. It essentially does what you are asking by reversing the age bar back to zero."
You were implying that the existing potion did exactly what I stated and did revert to a previous stage. That is not the same as reverting to the start of the beginning of the same age. The potion of youth only reverts you back to the beginning stage not to a previous stage.

Yes to this! I was honestly so bummed when I found out those potions weren’t already a thing. Yeah we have the immortality potion but what good is that if they can’t make an enteral youth potion to go with it.

Yeah there’s the youth potion you can buy with satisfaction points but 1. You have to buy the potion a spellcaster can’t brew it and 2. It only resets the sims current life stage not reverse say an elder sim into an adult or young adult. Which sucks since it would be so cool to see an elderly spell caster sim drink a potion and magically transform into a younger life stage

Personally I think it would be funny if a spell caster could accidentally turn themselves into a child if they mess up the potion like a temporary curse or something but I can see how it would cause its own fair share of issues gameplay wise/not be something people would appreciate story wise

  • This would be great! The wording in game for the potion of rejuvenation and potion of immortality makes it seem that the rejuvenation stops aging from that lifestage point when all it does it reset the clock to the beginning of their current age span (the same as the reward points potion) and the immortality potion would stop death completely not just death from everything except that they can still die of old age, that's not really being immortal if age can still get you in the end. I found that confusing. Also there is a potion of prompt resurrection but it has a cool down and just brings the sim back to life but only if they die while that potion is active which kinda doesn't make sense, you'd have to have them constantly drink the potion to keep the skill active so they never died. The potions should make it so our sims can outsmart death and aging completely.

If vets can craft a treat that can age a pet up or down a life stage then I see no reason why spell casters can’t brew potions to do the same thing. That just doesn’t make any sense.
