Childhood Crushes and Relationships
I would love to see a future update or pack that introduces innocent childhood crushes in The Sims 4. Children could have a special kind of relationship that is different from teenage and adult romance. They could have a “crush” on another child, talk about their feelings, spend time together, hug, give each other little drawings or gifts, and maybe have a very innocent cheek kiss. I think it would be really cute if children could slowly develop feelings for someone while growing up. For example, two Sims could become best friends as children, develop a childhood crush on each other, and then, when they become teenagers, their relationship could naturally develop into teenage romance. The game could remember that they liked each other as children, so their relationship would actually have a history. Of course, the feelings could also change as they grow up — they could stay friends, fall for someone else, or eventually become a couple. I think this would make generations and family gameplay feel much more natural and meaningful. Children already form strong friendships and innocent crushes in real life, so it would be lovely to see that represented in a safe, age-appropriate way in The Sims 4. 💕3Views0likes0Comments💡 Ideas > 🎂 12 years ! For years, players have enjoyed expanding their families with pets, horses, and many different Occult Sims. However, one fantasy theme is still missing: dragons and mythical companions. This expansion introduces not only dragons, but an entire ecosystem of mythical companions inspired by legends from around the world. Every creature has its own personality, preferred lifestyle, abilities, and relationships with Sims. Rather than being simple pets, dragons become lifelong companions, protectors, explorers, and members of the family. Some species are playful and mischievous, while others are powerful guardians capable of carrying Sims across the world. Alongside dragons, players can discover legendary creatures that cannot simply be created in Create-a-Sim. These mythical beings must be earned through exploration, trust, and unique gameplay. 1. Dragon Creation Players can create their own dragons during household creation. Instead of being limited to one appearance, dragons are divided into different species and sizes. -Players choose: -Species -Scale colour -Size -Personality -Temperament -Favourite environment Each dragon develops its own preferences throughout life, making every companion feel unique. 2. Dragon Sizes Fairy Dragons🧚💚 -Tiny dragons no larger than a cat or infant. -Highly intelligent, playful and curious. -Perfect companions for family gameplay. Fairy Dragons are tiny dragon companions famous for their intelligence, curiosity and mischievous behaviour. They hide objects, collect treasures, steal shiny items, bring gifts, play harmless pranks and constantly search for new adventures. Depending on their personality, they may return home carrying: -Crystals -Fish -Flowers -Rare collectibles -Forgotten relics -Simoleons mysteriously "found" somewhere nearby. They create unique friendships with other animals. Cats may be gently carried through the skies on playful adventures. Dogs enjoy magical games of fetch and races around the garden. Fairy Dragons adore children, magical plants and lively households filled with activity. Although playful, they remain deeply loyal and eventually choose one favourite family member with whom they develop an extraordinary lifelong bond. Medium Dragons🐲🔥 A dragon species about the size of a large dog or horse. Large enough to help Sims guard their lots against thieves or uninvited guests—like vampires who want plasma without asking—and they can accompany them on adventures in various regions to protect their Sim, however, some Sims will be afraid of the dragon’s company, making it harder to maintain a good relationship between the dragon and a stranger Sim. Great Dragons🐉🌠 Huge dragons that can carry Sims through the skies. They allow for aerial exploration; you can challenge a Sim to dragon races and explore distant journeys between worlds, and you can even take a couple in love on a trip as a “date in the sky” option—this can help build trust between the dragon and the other Sim. These giant dragons not only become living mounts but also friends to your Sim; with them, you can share your passions, such as reading them books, painting pictures, or playing music that can influence their emotions. Of course, you can also fall asleep on their paw if your Sim trusts their dragon. Unlike other dragons, these ones inspire fear with their appearance; even if they have a gentle nature, this can discourage neighbors from getting to know your Sim. An uncontrolled dragon may attack your Sim if it gets on their nerves and may provoke a conflict with another dragon. In a nutshell, players can: -Fly over neighborhoods. -Visit other worlds. -Participate in dragon races. -Discover hidden places. -Unlock aerial adventures. -Travel with their significant other as a date. -Share their passions with their dragon. 3. Integration with add-ons and popular Sims. Integration with expansions Dragons and mythical creatures naturally interact with previously released content. Examples include: Realm of Magic🧙 Dragons and mythical creatures establish contact with one another more quickly. If such a creature accompanies a wizard, it can protect the wizard from magic overload, teach new spells not found in spellbooks, and grant immunity to certain elements, such as fire. Famous Characters: Morgyn Ember might possess a massive phoenix. This mythical creature is close to the wizard and protects him from fire. Faba L. has a fairy dragon that encourages him to play pranks Simeon Silversweater has an ancient dragon that is peaceful and supports his wizard. Vampires🧛 Dragons with certain personality traits similar to those of vampires—such as drinking plasma or a preference for the night—form stronger bonds with vampires and lead a nocturnal lifestyle. The sun does not harm them, but it makes the dragon feel uncomfortable, and if the dragon stays with a vampire in the sun, it transfers dark energy to the vampire, granting a certain percentage of resistance to sunlight and allowing it to kidnap a Sim for its vampire master if you train it to do so. They do not get along with werewolves and defend their territory against intruders. Famous Charakters: The Vatore family has a medium-sized dragon that provides them with a supply of plasma. She is a companion to her family and tries to protect them from Straud. Werewolves🐺 Dragons with the “Love of the Wild” or “Love of Nature” traits influence the “Fury” mechanic, allowing them to help a werewolf get rid of its fury or increase its fury if the player wants the werewolf to fight someone—and defeat an opponent, such as Greg. These dragons can engage in friendly sparring with werewolves to boost their athletic skill and wolf abilities. Enchanted by Nature🌺 Dragons have special abilities, such as healing pets from illnesses and even rejuvenating them; they can revive gnomes and even plant seeds. To gain these abilities, a dragon or Sim must befriend Mother Nature. Island Living🧜 Dragons with a passion for Sulani connect more easily with mermaids; they can swim with them in the sea and even venture deep into the ocean—a new location to explore—in search of treasure. A dragon can swim alone or with your Sim, but if your Sim isn’t a mermaid, the dragon companion can grant them the ability to breathe underwater temporarily. Royalty and Legacy👑 Dragons belonging to a dynasty, thanks to their legendary status, boost prestige, inspire subjects, and strengthen the position of royal families—but they also intensify rivalry from other dynasties. This may stem from fear of the dragon or hatred toward a particular dynasty. Life and Death💀 Dragons with the “macabre” trait or rare species, such as spectral or skeletal dragons, are more likely to form bonds with gloomy Sims and those who collaborate with Death. From the very beginning, these dragons inspire aversion in all Sims except for the Macabre, ghosts, and vampires. They can create a cold, thick fog that intensifies fear among living Sims, and their grim roar causes them to flee. If a family owns one of these dragons, it provides them with a high level of protection against encounters with Death. If this dragon has befriended a Sim, you can make a “wish” to “bring the Sim back to life.” The dragon can revive the Sim or grant them a new life in the form of a child. Famous Charakters; Vladislaus Straud is the master of his spectral dragon, which poses a danger to others. It’s hard to make contact with this dragon unless it sees Straud, who has a good rapport with Sims. This dragon hunts other Sims to bring them to its master. 4. Legendary Mythical Creatures Unlike ordinary dragons, legendary creatures cannot be created. Players must discover them through exploration, achievements, and trust. Each legendary creature is a unique being with its own story. Examples: • Phoenix • Guardian of the Sea • Spirit Dragon • Other creatures inspired by the mythology of various cultures. An encounter with one of them should be a one-of-a-kind experience. 5. New Skills. Dragonic Language🐲💬 Sims gradually learn the language of dragons. Higher skill levels unlock: -Conversations -Ancient dragon inscriptions -Special commands -Dragon history -Stronger bonds Mythic Language🥇 An advanced language used by legendary creatures. Learning it allows Sims to understand forgotten myths and communicate with beings beyond ordinary dragons. 6.New Items, creations and more. New musical instruments and vocals—lute, harp, and opera vocals. New clothes and items for pets inspired by the Middle Ages or magic, such as a large crystal ball as a cat bed. And, of course, accessories for Sims, such as horns or scales on their bodies. Of course, this is just one possible vision for an Expansion Pack, and I'd love to hear everyone else's ideas as well. I'm sure the community has plenty of creative concepts that could make this even better. Personally, I believe an expansion centered around dragons and mythical creatures would be a wonderful addition to The Sims 4. It would open the door to new stories, adventures, family gameplay, and interactions with existing Occults, while giving players even more freedom to create unique worlds. Thank you for taking the time to read my concept! I'd love to know what features, creatures, or gameplay ideas you would add. 🐉✨143Views3likes0CommentsSUPERHEROS

Sul, sul! I have an idea about new pack - royalty and legacy. About secret child - i think in game is lacking an option to find out about the biological parent in every moment of sim life. For example biological parent can tell the secret child about the true origin.8Views0likes0CommentsPlease reconsider The Sims 4 regional pricing in Ukraine — 70% price increase
Please reconsider The Sims 4 regional pricing in Ukraine — 70% price increase I would like to ask EA and Maxis to reconsider the current regional pricing of The Sims 4 DLC in Ukraine. Recently, the prices of The Sims 4 DLC on Steam in Ukraine were significantly increased across the catalogue. For example, The Sims 4 Get to Work increased from 999 UAH to 1699 UAH, which is an increase of approximately 70%. This is a very substantial increase for the Ukrainian market. I understand that EA may need to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations, inflation and changes in regional pricing recommendations. However, I believe the current Ukrainian prices should be reconsidered with the actual economic situation and purchasing power of Ukrainian consumers in mind. Ukraine is still experiencing a full-scale war, which has had a major impact on household incomes and expenses. Average wages and purchasing power remain significantly lower than in the United States and Western European countries, while the cost of essential goods and services continues to put considerable pressure on household budgets. At the same time, The Sims 4 has an unusually large amount of additional paid content. When prices increase across Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and Kits simultaneously, the total cost of legitimately owning the game's content becomes extremely high relative to local incomes. This is particularly noticeable when comparing regional pricing. A price that may be reasonable for a consumer in a high-income country can represent a much larger financial burden for a Ukrainian player. I also believe that regional pricing should take into account the importance of keeping legitimate purchases accessible. I am not suggesting that piracy is justified — it isn't. However, when official content becomes disproportionately expensive compared with local purchasing power, some players may simply be unable to justify purchasing it legally. Fairer regional pricing could instead encourage more players to remain within the legitimate EA ecosystem and continue supporting the developers. I am therefore asking EA to review the current Ukrainian regional pricing and consider Ukrainian purchasing power, average income, the ongoing economic impact of the war, the difference between Ukrainian and Western markets, the cumulative cost of owning The Sims 4 DLC, and the importance of keeping legitimate purchases accessible. I am not asking for free DLC or special treatment. I am asking for regional pricing that reflects the economic reality of the Ukrainian market. The Sims 4 has a large and passionate community in Ukraine, and I hope EA and Maxis will consider reviewing these prices rather than simply applying the same pricing approach used for substantially wealthier markets. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.1.8KViews135likes49CommentsCross-Platform DLC Transfers for The Sims 4
Dear Reader, As a dedicated Sim player for over 18 years, I genuinely love and enjoy the game. While I've occasionally been frustrated by some updates (or the lack thereof), nothing has been more disheartening than the inability to transfer purchased packs across platforms. I currently play on PlayStation but have been considering switching to PC/Mac for greater convenience, especially when traveling. However, I was shocked to discover that the significant investment I've made in The Sims 4 content—over $1,400 across expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs, and kits—would not carry over to a new platform. This limitation is both frustrating and discouraging for loyal players like myself. What is the point of having an EA account if it doesn't provide the flexibility to access purchased content across platforms? The idea of repurchasing the same DLC content for another $1,400 is unreasonable and alienating to devoted fans. Allowing cross-platform pack transfers would offer more advantages than drawbacks: Player Loyalty and Customer Appreciation: The Sims franchise thrives on its passionate and loyal player base. Allowing cross-platform pack transfers would show that EA values and appreciates its most dedicated players. Increasing Player Engagement: Players are more likely to engage with the game on multiple platforms when their content carries over. This flexibility enhances the player experience, encouraging greater long-term involvement in the game. Consistency with Industry Trends: Cross-platform play and transferable purchases are becoming industry standards. Major gaming companies such as Epic Games, Microsoft, and Ubisoft have embraced this model, making it easier for players to access their content across different devices. EA should follow suit to remain competitive and player-focused. Convenience for Players on the Go: Gaming isn't confined to a single device anymore. Many players, myself included, would love to play The Sims 4 while traveling or on road trips by simply hotspotting a laptop to a phone. Without cross-platform content, this becomes nearly impossible for console players. Protection Against Piracy: The current system inadvertently encourages players to seek unauthorized ways to access their paid content on other platforms. Offering a legitimate solution for transferring packs would reduce the incentive for piracy. Increased DLC Sales: Players who have the flexibility to use their packs across platforms are more likely to continue purchasing new content rather than feeling alienated by platform restrictions. Improved Customer Satisfaction: Happy customers are more likely to recommend the game and remain loyal to the franchise. Allowing pack transfers would address a significant pain point for many players, fostering a more positive relationship with the EA brand. I understand that some might argue I should simply remain on PlayStation, but it's not always practical. Being able to hotspot my laptop during travel and play like so many other players would be a game-changer for me. I appreciate the hard work the team puts into developing new content, and I'm more than willing to continue supporting The Sims series financially. However, I cannot justify paying twice for the same content. Loyal fans deserve a better solution. I sincerely hope EA will consider addressing this issue and providing a solution that benefits the entire player base. Thank you for your time and for listening to this long-time player's concerns. ~ Haley1.7KViews14likes79CommentsSome quick thoughts on the new feature coming soon.
Honestly, the education system needs a serious upgrade. We have way too few high schools to make the experience feel unique, and university content is pretty bare-bones. It really kills the immersion when huge chunks of a Sim's life are just skipped over or unavailable. Also, what about adult education? Once a Sim graduates uni (or skips it), there's literally nothing else to choose from. And don't get me started on the 'High School/Average Grades' tag stuck on old Sims from before you even bought the Uni pack—it's so immersion-breaking for legacy saves. I know rebuilding preschool and elementary from scratch would be a lot, and maybe those should've been part of the High School Years pack. But even so, I'm still hoping we get to play a more complete life cycle someday. I want my Sims to have a real, full journey from childhood all the way to adulthood.🙂29Views1like0CommentsMy Ideas to Make The Sims 4 More Realistic, Detailed and Alive!!
I would love to see much more depth, personality and realism in The Sims 4. I want Sims to feel much more unique and individual instead of mainly being defined by a few traits and their appearance. I think there should be a much more detailed personality system, maybe including zodiac signs or other characteristics that influence how Sims behave, what they like and dislike, how they interact with others and how they develop throughout their lives. I would also love to see a much more advanced genetics system. Sims should have different heights depending on their DNA and their parents, different shoe sizes, more realistic facial features and body proportions, and genetics should be much more noticeable across generations. I also think the life stages could be more detailed. Instead of simply going from child to teenager, there could be something in between so Sims actually look and feel like they are growing up, just like toddlers gradually develop into children. Growing up should feel like a process rather than simply aging up with a birthday. I would also love a huge and detailed sports system. Sims could start training in sports from a very young age and eventually work their way up from local competitions to national championships, world championships and even the Olympics. Gymnastics, swimming, athletics, football and many other sports could be included. A Sim could start gymnastics as a child, train for years, compete in competitions, qualify for bigger events and eventually represent their country at the Olympics. There could be professional athletes, coaches, sports academies, training schedules, injuries, recovery, medals, sponsorships and fan communities. Football could have its own deep system as well, with clubs, leagues, matches, training, transfers, professional careers and national teams. Sims could eventually play in a World Cup, while other Sims could be passionate fans who attend matches, buy jerseys and merchandise, join fan clubs and celebrate or argue over their favorite teams. I would love for sports fandom to actually become part of Sims’ identities and social lives. Music should also be much more detailed. Sims should be able to become professional singers, write their own songs, record them in studios, release albums, build a fanbase and perform at concerts. Even better, Sims should be able to create their own bands, choose the members, rehearse together, record music and eventually perform live. Concerts should range from small local gigs and clubs to festivals, arenas and huge stadium shows. As a Sim becomes more successful, their concerts could become larger and eventually turn into national or even worldwide tours. I would also love a proper hotel system where Sims can buy, build and manage their own hotels. They could design rooms, hire employees, manage guests, set prices, receive reviews and gradually turn a small hotel into a huge luxury resort or even a hotel chain. Hotels could also host weddings, parties, conferences and concerts. Another huge idea I would love to see is cruises. Sims could actually book cruises, choose different cabins, spend several days on a cruise ship, visit different destinations, go on excursions, eat at restaurants, attend shows, swim in pools, shop and meet other Sims. There could even be careers connected to cruise ships. This would make traveling feel much more like an actual experience. I also think the acting and entertainment system from Get Famous could be expanded enormously. Instead of only going to acting gigs, Sims could have much deeper careers in the entertainment industry and become actors, directors, producers, screenwriters, TV hosts or comedians. I would especially love the ability to create television shows and movies. Sims could develop their own ideas, write scripts, cast actors, produce episodes and eventually become famous because of their own productions. There could be premieres, red carpet events, interviews, talk shows, award ceremonies, nominations and many different awards to win. Fame should feel like an entire industry rather than just a celebrity trait. Airports and airlines would also make the world feel much more realistic. Instead of simply clicking on a destination and disappearing, Sims could actually travel to an airport, check in, go through security, wait at the gate and board a plane. There could be careers as pilots, flight attendants, airport employees and even airline executives, and eventually Sims could own or manage their own airline. Cars should also become a much bigger part of everyday life. Sims could drive to school, work, sports practice, restaurants, vacations and other places, and there could even be real car dealerships where Sims can buy and customize different cars. I would also love a huge festival and amusement park system. There could be summer festivals, fairs, Christmas markets, food festivals, concerts, fireworks and seasonal events with lots of stands, games and competitions. I would especially love something similar to a huge German fairground or Dom with roller coasters, Ferris wheels, haunted houses and other attractions. These places should feel busy and alive with lots of Sims interacting with each other. I also think the cities in The Sims 4 could be taken much further with a true Metropolis 2.0. There could be massive modern cities with subway systems, public transportation, skyscrapers, penthouses, shopping malls, real stores, huge companies, corporate offices, restaurants, entertainment districts, airports and stadiums. There could even be major airlines, car dealerships and large companies that actually exist within the world and interact with Sims. The medical system could also be expanded significantly. Hospitals could have emergency rooms, intensive care units, surgeries, emergency operations, ambulances and different departments. Births could be longer and much more detailed, hospital stays could have more depth, and there could be more illnesses, accidents and medical emergencies. Sims could visit specialists such as dentists and ophthalmologists, get braces, glasses, vaccinations and different treatments, and their health could actually have more of an impact on their lives. There could also be research laboratories where scientists develop new treatments and medicines for serious diseases, and perhaps new illnesses could occasionally spread throughout the world and affect Sims of all ages. University and campus life could also be much deeper. I would love more hobbies, student organizations, sports teams, clubs, parties, fraternities and sororities, campus traditions, competitions, dorm life and social experiences. University should feel like a real chapter of a Sim’s life instead of simply being a place where they attend classes and complete assignments. Overall, I think The Sims 4 needs much more depth in its interactions and in the way Sims react to the world around them. Sims should remember important experiences, have deeper friendships and rivalries, develop more complicated relationships, react differently depending on their personalities and have their own ambitions, interests, careers, fandoms and stories. I don’t just want more objects, clothes or worlds. I want The Sims 4 to feel much more like an actual life simulator where Sims can build completely different lives and where every generation can have its own story.70Views2likes5Comments
