Forever Free Packs for Everyone
Sims 4 is already a 10-year-old game with around like 90 packs. And new packs will continue to be released for many years. Inzoi, with $40 (1 ep price we have 16 of them), might be able to cover 70-80 of these 90 packs, and with the base game without DLCs, they'll likely complete the missing ones within 1-2 years. I think Sims should adjust some of the older packs to be permanently free to prevent losing in the competition and keep players engaged. For example, packs like Seasons, Cats and Dogs expansion pack, and in game packs Get to Work could be free. If they make 2-3 packs from each pack type free, it would be great for new players, and they can complete the rest without pirating. By the way, I have almost all of the Sims packs. For those who already have these packs, the upcoming kits could be available for free for a month, similar to the Desert Luxe kit they gave for free when Sims 4 became free.6.1KViews16likes33CommentsFantasy/Sci-Fi/etc. Themed Packs
With EbN most of the supernatural Life States are in Sims 4. I would of course like more but a general satisfaction that if you have RoM/V/W/EbN you finally almost have the equivalent to Sims 3 Supernatural. Sims 3 Supernatural (my first Sims 3 pack) is what got me hooked on buying all Sims 3 packs and almost the entire Sims 3 store—so that is why I mention it. But because I am a fantasy/sci-fi based player, non-fantasy/sci-fi packs and packs that do not compliment fantasy/sci-fi type themes don't interest me much—so that means there are more packs I rather skip/not buy than buy (but I am also aware many players feel the opposite too). At least that is what I found in Sims 4, it is easier to skip packs in Sims 4 than Sims 3. Also funny enough, I had no interest in the Journey to Batuu (I mean I probably would like the CAS and Build by the rest of the pack I have zero interest), just the Star Wars universe doesn't really have a place in my Sim worlds (but I might buy it (on sale), if they add a Dystopian EP/GP). With this, new packs are really going to have to impress me to buy, otherwise I need hard convincing just to buy packs when they are on sale. So here are some idea for packs that might interest fantasy/sci-fi/themed game style players and may or may not interest non-fantasy/non-sci-fi/non-themed game style players. Steampunk, bring back inventing that is more tinkerer/eccentric based that can work for past, modern and (dystopian) future themed players. I loved using both Ambitions/WA and the steampunk store packs (including Midnight Hollow) to create a sort of industrial steampunk themed game. This could probably be a GP but you'd wow me if you did a EP. Medieval, also a fan of Dragon Valley and baby dragons. I think many players would love to be technology free (no cell phones/computers/TVs/etc.) especially for a non-ECO off the grid challenge. I'd suggest an EP, make it so you can play past/modern tech (or lack of tech). Underground and/or Underwater Biodome, my fav Sims 2 lot was a the Biodome, I still want to see that again revised. But for a fallout or future playstyle this would be so cool. Or even ocean exploration themed. Space Station/Spaceship, or some future world. I loved Into the Future and Oasis landing! I miss nanites and the regular or dystopian versions of the future world. Whimsical, I loved the Looking Glass/Wonderland store items, I sort of used Midnight Hollow and utopian future to play an Alice in Wonderland theme game. I'd love a tea party table (I loved the store tea set table). This could be a GP or very least a SP (similar to how Paranormal works) but please not a Kit (it wouldn't be enough to work with). The idea of oversized items, from being shrunk (misses oversized flowers). How to make this work for non-fantasy themed players, theme park lots/capability for themed lots, to keep fantasy Sims in certain worlds/lots similar to werewolves staying in their world. Adventure Worlds, aka Al Simhara, Shang Simla and Champs Les Sims, JA is nice but I really loved these worlds too. This is themed but not fantasy/sci-fi so more people should be able to enjoy.82Views2likes4CommentsTeenagers
I had a thought recently. Ive been playing Sims games since I was 9 and with the Sims 4 its still just as amazing. I think for a future game back it would be cool to focus on the teens. All the teens really got was the School thing which was a big step for them. It'd be cool for the kids to have that option too. But I was thinking a future pack for the teens would be a variety of personality and upbringing. Like rebel teenagers that jump out their windows at night to sneak out to parties. Or goody two shoes who only get immaculate grades and graduates with honors. The nerdy kid who gets teased a lot. The jock that everyone follows. Cheer captian who is popular. Stuff like that. I think the whole idea of sneaking out for teens would be cool. They'd have to have different ways to sneak without being seen by parents or other adults or police.9Views1like1CommentDungeons & Dragons (TTRPGs/fantasy) in the Sims 4
I was thinking how cool it would be if we could create a hangout specifically to play TTRPGs with other Sims! It might even be fun to do a collaboration with Wizards of the Coast to have official DnD characters, items, books and skins etc. How cool would it be to create a Tabaxi (catperson) or Tiefling (Devilperson) as a Sim, or to have an Owlbear pet! Come on EA, make it happen so we can get our nerd on!65Views3likes5Comments🎂 10 years ! And now ?

Werewolves, have too few accessories since the newest patch that removed many neck accessories from them (many that weren't even that badly fitting, and some were perfect), Why oh WHY Couldn't it have been planned to Re-fit them... do Werewolves not deserve to look good too? And Why were the Neck items from Wedding Stories removed when they DID Fit well enough as is. I feel that's like telling a Werewolf (Transformed or Not) he doesn't deserve to look good, on what is one of the best days of his life. Please. Please reconsider that. I have no idea where else this should go. but not adressing this would not be in good faith, and remember we have paid good coin for the packs, and would probably want to use the CAS items. no matter WHAT they might look like on a occult We Do Want to have MORE Options not LESS40Views1like1CommentLive Edit items should be in the game
Do we know if there is actually a reason that live edit debug items aren't in the game without going into debug? Especially things like the fences, plants and other decorations. They've obviously been made, so why not just give them to us to use? Also, I really dislike not having access to all the swatches that have been made for live edit items. The screenshot below is from a live edit item - the wall pattern texture (which is really cool) doesn't exist and we don't have the swatches for the fence or windows. It's a real shame that we don't have access to everything that has clearly been made.22Views4likes1Comment
