I think it would be neat if they did a small gadget kiosk like in the Sims 2. In the game your Sim will have whatever the "standard phone" is. (I suppose it would be the one we had now.) At the kiosk, your Sim can trade in their phone for an upgrade or a downgrade. Downgrade would get the previous screen version the phone had. Upgrade would implement some of the things suggested, like smaller icons, better camera, include/don't include this app.
