[FR] [CHEAT] Unable to increase rental unit cap

Question

Since the most recent base game update I am no longer able to increase the residential rental unit cap from 6. I have tested this in both a modded and vanilla game with no luck. I've entered the cheat bb.increaserentalunitcap on as I've always done and this no longer appears to do anything. I've never had to enter testingcheats true or testingcheats on but I did anyway just to cover all basis and it made no difference. I don't see anything mentioned in the update notes where this feature would be removed so I'm assuming this is a bug.&nbsp;

I believe the devs stated they were removing this cheat as it was contributing to the save degradation glitch.

Respectfully, put this cheat back. I'm so annoyed that this is how I found out.

I started a new save after the updates, deleted my previous save, and now find out it can't have a similar structure??

Put the cheat back.

They did announce it here: Community Concerns with Save File Issues - October 2025 Update | EA Forums - 12690410 However, it should also have been in the patch notes and wasn't, which is frustrating.
