Burnout

I am literally begging EA to either make burnout less common, or add a toggle feature to turn it completely off. It is completely ruining my gameplay. My sims are constantly getting burnt out on things they love to do. And it is almost every other day. I am so tired of it. I am on PS4 so I cant install mods. And yes I know there are ways to make it better, but it is so outright annoying.

  • It does help to have meditation items from the Spa Day pack to quickly reduce these moodlets, but I 100% agree with you.

I had my sims burning out, so I took them on a short holiday. The day after coming home they returned from work with a "needs vacation!" tense moodlet. I feel like my sims are almost always uncomfortable, or tense... Which prevents me from doing things. My plants have died recently because my sims were too tense to water them - so stupid.

If you have enough satisfaction points, then try to purchase the Carefree trait. It keeps your from Sims being tense all the time.

It makes game play so much easier when I have to build skills for a promotion after coming home from work. I always have to do a fun activity to bring their tension down before I can build any skills. And it's silly because my current Sim likes programming, but I can't get her to practice programming because she's always so tense after work.
