I think a lot of that could be added in a pretty straightforward manner with a game mod.
I say this as someone with more conceptual familiarity than practical experience actually creating them, but...it wouldn't be surprised if one already exists. You might consider exploring that possibility, if you haven't already.
Personally, I enjoy munching produce in flagrante delicto. In the game and IRL! (I predict Soil-to-Mouth will soon supplant the Farm-to-Table craze.)
I've been googling for a mod - but thus far, I have just found vegetarian ones (and a vegan trait which makes no difference to anything) unless I'm looking in the wrong places.
But this would be a great opportunity for a modder; I'd snap it up! 🙂 (though, I feel sorry for console vegans 😉 )
